“My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Hope & Glory! The accommodations were beautiful and charming. We especially loved the flowers in the garden. The Inn was quiet and peaceful. The pool was perfect. We were walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff is incredible and we could tell they put a lot of heart into making sure their guests have a welcoming and special stay. They make you feel right at home. We will spread the word and sure hope to be back again! Thank you!!”

“Excellent food selection and served “taste”fully and sufficient sizes. The restaurant was busy and staff was cheerful and knowledgeable. We did choose to alter our drink order and were a bit surprised with the up charge so be mindful to ask to confirm. Pleasant surroundings. Enjoyed our experience overall.”

“Gal greeting needs to be trained on what greeting means. Server excellent. Decent pour of wine. I’ve read reviews that said this food is like bar food. Definitely not bar food.
I had the snakehead fish bites. Asked the Chef to put very light blackening. Accommodated. I ordered the mac & cheese and the green beans to complement. Mac and cheese was delicious. I read a review that said the pimento cheese in it was not visible. It was not visible because it was totally chopped up. That allowed it to present its sweet flavor throughout. Key lime pie was good. Not a must unless you’re a dessert person.”

“Three girlfriends and I stayed at the Tides Inn for a quick overnight stay to celebrate a milestone birthday , and one of the highlights was having our lunch at Fish Hawk Oyster bar. It’s delightful covered terrace overlooked both the pool and the river. I enjoyed a crab salad and one of my friends enjoyed her crab cake sandwich (so much crab, NOT all filler). The service was attentive even though they were busy. We enjoyed our day 1 lunch so much we returned for our day 2 lunch before we departed! There was a cocktail boat racing event happening at the resort so it was much busier. Their flat bread, salads, fried oysters were all delicious. We hit it at the right time and got a table but wait time grew to over an hour (due to the boat races) while we were enjoying our lunch. Management stepped in to help with service during peak times. Highly recommend if you’re near Irvington or staying at the Tides Inn!”

“View is amazing. Food is good and menu has a nice variety. Of note, the eggs were brought to the table cold and were returned. Staff could be more attentive. For example, no spoons were brought out with the sorbet so we ate it with forks. We were a party of two and were seated at a 5 top which is fine but the other place settings were not cleared and sat on table throughout the meal. Didn't have a chance to eat on the patio but that looked fun. Overall, would recommend and it is nice to have available when staying at The Tides Inn.”

“Dinner with friends last night.. first timers. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Friendly service, fast service, prices affordable! Our 4- top table ordered clam strips, onion petals, ribeyes, crab cakes and sautéed shrimp and the salad bar! Homemade croutons - YUM! Desserts- coconut cake, lemon blueberry pie and an orange cream cake- y’all GO! We will def make this a regular dinner option. Thank you The Oaks!”

“Outstanding. We are on vacation and the hubby found this restaurant when he was searching Google!! Ribeye with parm shrimp AMAZING!! Butterbeans reminded us of mommas cooking!! Hubby had the crab cakes, scallops, shrimps and oysters with the butterbeans and coleslaw! Definitely worth the price!!! Remember, you get what you pay for!! Someone in that kitchen knows how to cook!! We will be back, have to try the rest of the menu!!”

“We love Sandpiper restaurant. The atmosphere, menu and staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed dinner there on a super busy night. My husband ordered the rib eye with sautéed shrimp and the steak was cooked to the perfect ordered temperature and the price was wonderful for all he received (salad, steak, shirmp and asparagus, $55 ish). I ordered what was listed on the menu as the Sanpiper Jumbo Lump crabcakes. They were fine but definitely not jumbo lump. Backfin crabmeat at best. My mistake was only asking if the crabmeat was fresh and not specifically asking if it was indeed jumbo lump. The filler was flavored nicely. Will definitely eat here again but will just order differently.”

“Wonderful experience! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by all of the flavors, the wine, and the service. We started waking up our palettes with the Bao buns served with smoked maitake butter and the clams…so yummy (we could have picked it up and drank the whole thing of broth). We then shared a cup of the maitake mushroom soup, another amazing choice. As if we weren’t full on those flavors, we ordered our entrees. My husband had the bratwurst and I had the homemade lamb and gnocchi dish…wow! Our wine selection went great with all of the dishes. I had their wine selection of the day, a sparkling dry German wine with hints of raspberry and strawberry. We highly recommend Adrift for both the food and the service!”

“We come here about once per week and often times order the same thing! Crispy Chicken. We love it. The staff is super friendly. The food is great. Clean inside. Fast service. Super reasonable prices. I have ordered a lot on this menu and really like all of it. A personal favorite is the Moo Shu Pork! Bar seems fun too but not for me!”
