Nomini Bay was great to work with. Professional, informative, and self sufficient. Having this vendor at our wedding was the perfect touch, especially for oyster lovers like ourselves!”

“This place is a 10. Exceptional food and service. Our waitress Tia was awesome. Great ambiance. The legit, authentic and delicious lumpia was a very nice surprise. The jumbo shrimp cocktail, the shrimp, filet and scallop kabob, the jumbo beer batter shrimp, and potato au gratin, loaded baked potato etc etc were all perfect. My highest possible recommendations. We will definitely be back.”

“My whole family absolutely loves the food. The staff is always great, never flustered during busy times…and great with my little ones. The only complaint is it’s so damned hard to tell when they are gonna be open. Google maps says one thing, their website says another, and reality is neither of those. We are about a 40 min drive coming from Heathsville so we try to do Wal Mart and Willabys in the same run. But so many time we pull up and they are closed. Just wish there was a reliable way to see their actual hours. Still, the waffle fries and burgers alone are worth the trek. Much tastier than the overpriced N&N burger in Tappahannock.”

“So nice to have this gem here in the Northern Neck. We don’t get out to eat here as much as we want to but the food is exceptional every time. And while we tend to drink wine with our meal, it was very evident based upon the number of delicious looking cocktails leaving the bar that they are every bit as well crafted as the food. You won’t be disappointed dining here! We love it!”

“We arrived for a drink at the bar an hour before they were open. Jessica welcomed us anyway and got us seated by the fireplace which was warm and cozy on a cold, rainy, winter afternoon. We each had a drink, a Guinness and a Jameson’s, and a friendly chat with Jessica. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will return the next time we’re in town.”

“I definitely ate when I was in Kilmarnock, VA. This cafe was close to where family and I stayed for the weekend, and found this cafe. The staff were friendly and just a nice vibe. Usually I do not eat all my food, but I did that day! The food was really good and no take out box for me! Thanks for the great service and that hometown vibe!”

“This is my kind of place, and all because of a single item on the menu: the lobster roll. The new open-air location is terrific, and came about in mid-2023, after a multi-building fire in its previous Kilmarnock location closed it for more than a year. The community has appreciated the family making a comeback, with a new, fresh start.”

“It’s Domino’s…. Not a knock in any way. They make the pizza that the chain has on the menu. They deliver, never miss a thing that was ordered, and get it out in the sticks— quick. They’re always friendly when greeting me with delivery and do that every time. And yes, the pizza is hot and the salad is chilled. Thanks for being here in the NN Domino’s Team!”

“The Office is a charming and inviting place to dine. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal of fillet mignon and lobster ravioli with and appetizer of blood orange scallops and a chocolate chip cookie sundae for dessert.The service was some of the best I've experienced. The server was polite, funny and engaging. She was the perfect mix of personality and professionalism.The food was prepared exceptionally well and, per my wife, her fillet was cooked to perfection. The homemade pasta was delicious and perfectly cooked and I thoroughly enjoyed the kale as a side. I like well prepared scallops and these were definitely well prepared. I highly recommend them. The sundae was good though not exceptional.The restaurant itself was well appointed and comfortable. The only complaint we had, and this is a small thing, was that the noise level became difficult as the restaurant filled up. Unfortunately, I believe this is simply the result of the building itself and beyond their control.This was our first visit but we will be returning to try some of the other menu items. I am especially excited to try the ribs as they looked and smelled wonderful. My only suggestions are that you go hungry and most definitely make a reservation.”

“The food was fantastic. I shared a club sandwich with mom and it we chose potato salad as our side. We also had the shrimp and cheese dip which comes with soft toast bread. Absolutely fabulous. Our server and the restaurant supervisor were friendly and enjoyed discussing the menu with us. The ambiance is casual and quiet at lunch. Truly a delightful experience. Can't wait to go again and explore the menu more.”

“I’ve been to other Chinese restaurants and you kind of expect the same old standard. This place e is Not that. I ot my fav, vegetable lo Meir and to my delight the noodles were handmade! It was so good, I did not have leftovers for the next day! My party also got chicken fried rice and beef foo young. All were fresh and so good! I am no longer in town but want to go back! Lady behind the counter was very polite, nice, and attentive to make sure we had all we needed! Just a great experience and great food, highly recommend!”

“I live locally and had to run “into town” for a few things. My husband and I decided to make an impromptu day date of the trip and stop somewhere for a bite together.I will admit, this was not our first choice, we actually checked out 2 different places on the Main Street strip but one was closed and the other was only carry out (they had 3 or 4 “tables” but they were literally the size of a small tire lol.)We finally settled on Donna’s and I’m so glad we did!I ordered a burger and fries, my husband ordered a crab cake sandwich and sweet potato fries. We also ordered hush puppies as an appetizer. As a Maryland native I am happy to say that the crab cake was amazing. NO FILLER and good sized for the price. The burger was more than I expected it to be, I was honestly fearful it would be a premade patty (which always seem to taste more like grease than beef) and I was happy to find out that I was worried for nothing. The burger was bigger than the bun and, according to the menu description, a half pound in weight (before cooking) and beyond tasty with the perfect crunchy sear!! My meal was $14, the crab cake was $20, and the hush puppies were $5 (for 10). We both ordered beverages and, while I’m not one to typically gush over unsweetened iced tea (always my beverage of choice at restaurants) the iced tea was PHENOMENAL! It actually tasted like what fresh iced tea bags smell like when you open the box (instead of dirty tea water like you find in most restaurants).All in all, I am so glad we ended up at Donna’s on main and, at a reasonable $40 for our meal, we will definitely be returning to experience more of the menu in the near future.”

“The chef does a phenomenal job of making the natural flavors of the ingredients shine. Definitely one of the better quesadillas I've ever had. Warning, however, the default spice level is 0. There will be no hot pepper seasoning of any kind unless the dish specifically contains them. I expect you could ask for spice if you want it. :)”

“Make sure you can handle the weight of the chicken pot pie that is delivered. The top crust was brimming with filling. I followed the precise instructions the delivery guy gave me. The delicious aroma was hard to handle to wait. It was golden brown and chocked full of chicken and the veggies that accompanied it were tasty. Would highly recommend.”

“We just built a house about 10 minutes from The Corner. This was ( October 2023) our first time we dined there. We were blown away with just how good the food was and the prices. My wife and I had the wings, fried shrimp platter and fish and chips. Everything was awesome! I know its just bar food, but it really was good. Having family from the Buffalo NY area - we know what good wings are. These wings are the best we've had! The fish was perfectly fried and so was the shrimp. Prices were extremely cheap- compared to where we're from. We cant wait to come back again!”
