“My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight, and it was amazing! Service was quick and efficient :) The cilantro lime chicken and broccoli (best broccoli I've EVER had!) were delicious! My husband had the Jamaican jerk chicken with jasmine rice, and it was excellent, too. The bread that was brought before our meal was excellent, too. Our server Adelina was knowledgeable and friendly. Very attentive. The only issue is that we were too full for dessert! I'm sure it would have been amazing as well :) The parking lot was full, but we only had a 10-minute wait. Highly recommend!!“

“We are so glad we found this place. The drinks and food were outstanding. Our server Kristy was super. Very knowledgeable on the menu and helpful when we had questions. I had the Bison with butternut squash ravioli which was amazing. My wife had the meatloaf. We talked about our meal for the next several days. I wished we had room for dessert. “The beer options and food options were fantastic, our waiter was incredible and the atmosphere was great. The food was good, just lacked any impressive flavor (very basic tastes, but came out hot and fresh). The water tasted very off and unfortunately no bottled water was available (which was important to us after a full day at Busch Gardens). The kids food options were great and the quality of their food was fantastic.

Don’t recommend the “crab” & spinach artichoke dip. It’s basically just normal spinach artichoke dip with a fishy after taste, heavy on the artichoke & non-existent on the crab. Everything else was good though!“

“Fantastic! The best meal I've ever had in Williamsburg and I've been coming for over 30+ years. The potato soup was smooth, tasty, and velvety. The hearts of romaine was refreshing. The braised short rib was absolutely superb with the jasmine rice. Flavor explosion! The short rib was extremely flavourful and so tender that every bite melted in my mouth. The amazing end to our meal was the dessert. The macadamia nut pie with the caramel sauce was unbelievable. The caramel sauce was fantastic. Salted caramel. The macadamia nuts were all perfectly rounded and whole, which made for nutty and satisfying bite. The Madelines were to die for. It was autumn on a plate. Layers of flavor. Every bite kept you yearning for more. Fat Canary is an absolute must place to dine when in the area. It's definitely worth every bite!“

“This was such a perfect place for story time! My son and I had an amazing time today at Charly's Airport Restaurant. After a story, playing, and lunch we got to go out and look at some planes up close all while there were planes constantly coming in and out on the runway! “We had a wonderful dining experience from the welcoming greeters at the door to our wonderful server. The food was amazing from pea soup to steak to dessert, and the punch bowl! The Pringle’s ginger beer drink was very good, too. My daughter loved the oysters. It was a wholesome experience with live music and authenticity in the details (even the silverware is made in Williamsburg). It was also a treat to eat somewhere where historical figures dined in colonial times, but also really an art form to serve a menu inspired by recipes from the 1700s (and everything tasted amazing and fresh). The service was pretty impeccable for the whole staff (lots of servers, greeters, and staff).“

“Derrick our waiter was exceptional! My daughter and I recently went to a luncheon program in the Regency Room. Other years there has been a buffet, but this time it was a set plate affair. Flank steak was on the menu! My daughter is vegetarian! I quietly inquired of Derrick if a vegetarian plate was possible? As he brought everyone at our table their meat meal, he set a vegetable meal in front of her! She was surprised and delighted! He saved the day!“

They had live karaoke going on, but it wasn’t too loud for the dining area. It was fun to hear them all! Definitely recommend if you’re a guest here.“

“Came here New Years Day 2023. What a delight our server Sunni was! She didn’t miss a beat! We thoroughly enjoyed the chowder and the biscuits and honey butter. Kyle the Bartender was such a talent!! Really knows his stuff and an equally personable and professional like Sunni. (I wish the property supplied them w proper Bing cherries to go w a Manhattan instead of Maraschino cherries which are best used for Shirley temples;)). Food: Very impressed w the food! Cudos to the chef! And such a nice presentation!! My swordfish was perfect!! As was all my husbands choices. Definitely one of our new favorite places. Way to go Kingsmille on the newly reopened restaurant!!“

Chateaubriand needs a hot plate to help keep it warm. Ours was a bit over cooked. Scallops were good, 2 very big ones. Cheese platter was ok, a bunch of blueberries on it.“

“My friend walked in and asked for a table for two last night. There was light traffic at the time. I arrived 15 min later and we were still waiting. 25 min after that, we still hadn't been called so I asked the hostess what was going on. She explained that some call-ahead parties had come in, and those take precedence over people physically present and waiting.

How does that work? Call-ahead isn't the same as having a reservation, is it?

“I ordered a hot Almond Joy latte and it was fantastic. I couldn't even tell I was drinking coffee because it was so close to tasting like an actual Almond Joy. I also love the decor and the overall feel of this coffee shop. Definitely brings the feeling of comfort and wanting to enjoy the moment of drinking a good cup of coffee.“
