“We ate here today.The food was excellent. We had the shrimp boat as an appetizer. Enough for two. My husband had the combo, potroast & meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy, along with creamed spinach. I had the crab-a-bella with jasmine rice. Our server was Brandon C. This was our 2nd visit during our vacation. We encourage all to visit this resturant.“

“I had French onion soup. It was delicious. Lots of cheese! And loaded corn bread with honey butter served hot still in the skillet! I also ordered the veggie burger. I asked what was in the burger the waiter said garbanzo beans #allergygirl I thought great I can eat those! But when it came there were lots of other things in there (I know my fault for not being more detailed in my questioning). The waiter could not offer any details even after going to the kitchen. Better safe than sorry I decided not to eat it. The waiter made it easy by taking it off my bill.“

“Craft 31 is my favorite restaurant in Williamsburg, but this dinner in particular was the best experience we've ever had!! Our waitress was outstanding, and the manager was so kind. We dined in with our 1 year old baby, and the entire staff kept interacting with her and complimenting how cute she was. We felt so special and taken care of, truly an amazing visit. 10000/10!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

Center Street Grill is a hidden gem in Williamsburg that we stumbled on thanks to a post on Neighbor to Neighbor. When I read the post I had to check out and I am so glad my husband and our good friend did. We were not disappointed and ready to go back! We will definitely add Center Street Grill to our go to place for date night and a hang out with friends!! I highly recommend!“

However, I was disappointed with the preparation of the redfish, which was cut into small, thin pieces and served with the skin left on—something I didn't find particularly appetizing. While the accompanying tossed salad with peas and the overall flavor of the dish were good, the dish felt underwhelming and not very satisfying. The ribeye also fell short of expectations, as it contained quite a bit of gristle, which detracted from what should have been a premium cut of meat. Overall, while the ambiance and service were excellent, the execution of some key dishes left room for improvement.“

On our first day we enjoyed the delicious Ruben sandwich, the fries, the huge onion rings perfectly cooked, a very fresh side salad and a shrimp po’boy that was running over with shrimp. On another day we ordered the honey BBG wings. We will visit again the Eagles restaurant the next time we are in Kingsmill.“

“Derrick our waiter was exceptional! My daughter and I recently went to a luncheon program in the Regency Room. Other years there has been a buffet, but this time it was a set plate affair. Flank steak was on the menu! My daughter is vegetarian! I quietly inquired of Derrick if a vegetarian plate was possible? As he brought everyone at our table their meat meal, he set a vegetable meal in front of her! She was surprised and delighted! He saved the day!“

“Came here New Years Day 2023. What a delight our server Sunni was! She didn’t miss a beat! We thoroughly enjoyed the chowder and the biscuits and honey butter. Kyle the Bartender was such a talent!! Really knows his stuff and an equally personable and professional like Sunni. (I wish the property supplied them w proper Bing cherries to go w a Manhattan instead of Maraschino cherries which are best used for Shirley temples;)). Food: Very impressed w the food! Cudos to the chef! And such a nice presentation!! My swordfish was perfect!! As was all my husbands choices. Definitely one of our new favorite places. “We had a wonderful dining experience from the welcoming greeters at the door to our wonderful server. The food was amazing from pea soup to steak to dessert, and the punch bowl! The Pringle’s ginger beer drink was very good, too. My daughter loved the oysters. It was a wholesome experience with live music and authenticity in the details (even the silverware is made in Williamsburg). It was also a treat to eat somewhere where historical figures dined in colonial times, but also really an art form to serve a menu inspired by recipes from the 1700s (and everything tasted amazing and fresh). The service was pretty impeccable for the whole staff (lots of servers, greeters, and staff).“

When we went up to the bar, Stella took care of us, and wow… she was incredible. Her customer service was outstanding. She made us feel like we had known her for years. She was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does.

We each had a glass of wine, and honestly, I had no intention of purchasing a bottle that night. But because of Stella’s exceptional service and recommendations, I ended up taking one home. That says a lot.

“It's been far too long since my last visit here, and I am delighted that today's lunch more than lived up to my memory! I ordered my favorite, the chicken Cæsar salad, and it was fresh, crunchy, and full of shredded rotisserie chicken. My dining companions had the steak-frîtes and the bœuf Bourguignon - the steak was apparently just a *bit* overcooked but the truffle fries are to die for. The bœuf Bourguignon was incredible, the sauce deeply flavorful and unctuous. My cucumber cocktail was light and refreshing, and glory hallelujah, they've brought back the big bowl of chocolate mousse that I haven't seen since before lockdown (so yummy I forgot to take a photo). The mousse is delightfully smooth and not too sweet, a perfect end to the meal. Our server was lovely, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu (I don't remember her name, but she has Rainbow Fish earrings!) I left with an utterly content stomach, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!“
