“The caterer for my wedding on 6/14/25 backed out the night before with no refund. Patriots Grill was able to come through in the 11th hour and help us out. Everyone was fed and happy, the food was great, and I cannot thank Gabriel and his team enough for their empathy, help and support. A wonderful family owned place with a great heart!“

“Met Miss Amanda at the Norfolk Applebee’s. Was over in Newport News for a doctors appointment so decided to visit. HER RIBS ARE FALL OFF TJE BONE FINGER LICKING GOOD!!!!! Wowzers! We came Friday however I lost my receipt for the survey but I would give her food a Ten! Great service also! Applebees is stepping up there game for sure!“

“People are nice. It gets kind of like a biker place at times, but they are nice, I never seen trouble. It's more of a country style place, than a big city place, where there are fights and trouble all the time. Not here I feel safe when I come here alone for lunch or dinner, or to get out for the evening to hear a band play.“

“My wife and I heard about this restaurant from some friends and we decided to try it out for lunch on a beautiful Friday afternoon. We got there at about 2:30 and the staff were eager to help and serve us. We were the only people in a very nice dining area which did not distract from excellent service. We order a glass of wine and a Draft beer. Full lunch menu and we order the grilled chicken sandwich and the Philly Steak sandwich. Both were excellent and well prepared. Also had some onion rings and fries and they too were great. excellent experience and we will return.“
