“My husband and I actually prefer Los Portales in comparison to Juan’s. However tonight was awkward, because after TWO bites into my delicious steak fajita taco salad we were splashed by the busser who was NOISILY bussing the booth to my left (and before that, noisily bussing the booth behind my husband). She apologized, but it was too late—I was grossed out and went in search for the manager while wiping my face and arm. Long story short—we were offered another meal, but just too grossed out to stay and eat. Our waitress was so apologetic and would not take a tip. We do like the food, but it will be a while before we return. Noisily bussing tables using a bussing cart next to patrons who are eating is a very unpleasant distraction and just tacky, PERIOD!”

“The caterer for my wedding on 6/14/25 backed out the night before with no refund. Patriots Grill was able to come through in the 11th hour and help us out. Everyone was fed and happy, the food was great, and I cannot thank Gabriel and his team enough for their empathy, help and support. A wonderful family owned place with a great heart!”

“Not a fan of the ordering process. Stand in line at the bar and place your order over the counter. Guess it's a staffing issue but having to wait in line for 10 minutes isn't a great start to a meal.
Food was decent if a bit pricey (what isn't these days!)”

“Ever experience is absolutely amazing! Just went back for the second time for our anniversary. Making reservations was super easy, and I definitely recommend doing so. Service was phenomenal from the hostess to the waiter and every one else we encountered. Food? 100/10. The Thai brussel sprouts are soooo good, and every entry we’ve tried has been perfect. A great place on Main Street!”

“Tried going for dinner tonight and one employee made us change our mind. From the moment we walked in the door, he had an issue. Then was complaining because they were running low on bread and continued to talk about it. While we waited maybe 5 minutes that all he did, we are almost out of lettuce and bread, we are going to have to close. Then another employee walked out of the restroom and he told him we are almost of of fricken bread. We turned around and walked out. Usually it's a wonderful experience, just not tonight.”

“They used to be really good. My daughter-in-law brought me a sub home tonight. As a surprise, and when I bit into it, there was a big 2 inch piece of plastic, hard plastic in the sub, I said, where did you get this from? She said little Italy, I said, don't ever go there again. Because another family member used to work there and the cockroaches in the kitchen are beyond believable they don't try to even Get rid of it.So probably most of you have aided a dozen cockroaches and definitely hard plastic”

“Opening day and I was in and out in 15 mins!! That’s pretty good. I believe these are the same owners as the Yorktown location and they run a top notch store. Clean and efficient! So excited to have them in Gloucester right around the corner. Great job to their staff today! It was busy and they were all well composed. 👏🏻 😋”

“Every year, twice a year, our huge group of girls comes up into town from our camp ground and have made it our tradition. We come up and get it for all of the girls, and there’s a lot of them. “Our server Maegan J. was great, she was prompt, polite, was afraid to share her opinion on dishes, proper check back times on both appetizer and main course.
The atmosphere was quiet and appeared to be clean in the front of the house, now, that said, I can only speak for the mens lavatory, good lord almighty, that needs to be addressed, the urinal was caked in old urine, the sink looks like it hadn't seen proper attention and the toilet itself, I didn't even bother to look! The food was good, our server was great, and the front of the house team appeared to work together, but the bathroom was a major fail”
