“We have always loved walking Capitol trail with our kids, but having spoke and art there now makes it so much more enjoyable! First walk of the season, we stopped in for lunch and were totally unaware of the live music!!! What a great addition to this already amazing little place! Thanks for a great day!“

“A wonderful place for Active duty and veterans to relax in Colonial Williamsburg
Colonial Williamsburg is a living-history museum presenting a part of the historic district in the city of Williamsburg, Virginia as it was in the past with period people and the buildings as they would have been. You can drive and park in one of the many parking lots and visit for free by just walking around. If you want to get the most out of your tour you can visit the Visitors’ center located about ½ mile away or visit the Lumber house and buy a ticket that allows you access to more of the shops and sites inside the town. There is a lot to see in the city whether you have a ticket or just want to walk around. A hidden treasure that I found while walking the city on my journey of discovery was the Liberty Lounge. This is on the north side of the E Duke of Goucester street. It is in the building to the west of the Silversmith shop. You have to walk next to the building as the entry for the lounge is on the side farthest from the street. If you are active duty military or a veteran they offer free snacks or drinks like tea. If you happen to have a coin from your unit, that would be nice as they have a good collection and can always use more. There is a sign-in book. The staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful. It consists of 2 rooms with lots of memorabilia and sitting areas. It is a very nice place to relax if you are visiting the city on a cold or hot day.“

“I really enjoyed my cheeseburger. They have a great condiment bar where you can choose your own toppings.
Ordering is cafeteria style, and made to order while you wait. Lots of options from sandwiches, burgers, fish, pizza, quesadillas to salads.“
“While visiting Colonial Williamsburg, we were looking for a simple and reasonable place to eat. We decided on this location and were quite pleased. They have a great selection of drinks, food and desserts. I got the ½ Turkey sandwich with American cheese, bacon, lettuce and cheese on Focaccia bread with ½ Caesar salad ($15). My wife got the same sandwich with a Greek salad. They both came with pickle wedges. The only issue I had was that the whole time we were there; no employee ever came out and wiped off any tables or straightened the chairs.“
“Awesome staff, awesome food!! Great fun and relaxing environment to get together and chill!“

“When we arrived we were told the wait would be 20 minutes, but we're called to a table in 5 minutes. The waitress immediately came to our table and took our drink order. Drinks took 10 minutes then we ordered and our meals were done in 10. The service was incredible and food was perfect. would definitely recommend it“
“The Cupboard ~~ Great little spot to stop in for a snack or drink. Especially terrific is Siba, the nicest of ladies who makes the best hot tea anywhere. Who knew adding orange slices and cinnamon sticks could turn it into something special!“

“Y’all, I am not usually a fan of donuts. But these *chef’s kiss*. Not only did they smell and look absolutely amazing, but these have to be the best donuts I have ever tasted. A very lovely lady named Mama Dee brought a plethora of these to a bunch of people doing their best to show up for themselves, and when I tell you they didn’t last long, biggest understatement ever. What is usually a very chatty room, turned completely silent as everyone sat back and indulged in these delicious treats. You could hear “mmm” and “oh my God” every couple of seconds. The apple fritter had me in, personally. I know one things for sure, I will absolutely be going to try more. Thank you Emilys donuts for pouring love and compassion into each and every dessert. Everyone absolutely enjoyed them and wanted to know where they could get more.“

“Up until this morning, my family never had a negative experience at the Williamsburg First Watch. The food was always good. and the customer service top-notch. That changed today. It started with the waitress...she didn't offer any sort of greeting and, when my mother asked for a plate of bacon to share after I had ordered the "Trifecta" breakfast (with bacon, eggs over easy, and a multi grain pancake), the waitress asked me if I still wanted what I ordered and, when we sought suggestions, she stood silent. She gave us coffee when we asked, but poured hardly any in the cups and left us barely half a carafe. My eggs came over hard instead of over easy (as did my mother's, even though she asked for over easy too. The bottom of my pancake was burnt. (I took pictures of all of this in hopes that I could speak with the manager). I also ordered orange juice, which was never brought to the table. Our waitress then disappeared, so I had to flag down another waitress to get more coffee. creamers. and a few napkins. She at least was gracious enough to offer to do so. When I finally saw our waitress at the counter, I raised my hand to get her attention, and she gave me the "wait a minute" gesture. It took her five minutes to get to us. When she did come over, I asked her for what we needed, and she didn't seem overly thrilled about getting what we asked for. When she dropped the check, I told her she never brought my juice, and wanted her to remove that from the bill, which she did (with a half-hearted apology for that at least, after asking me if I still wanted it, which would have been pointless after the meal). Forty dollars for a meal experience worth less than half that. All-in-all, compared to past experiences, I can totally see why so many negative reviews have been posted lately.“

“Love Aromas! My fiancé and I were in town for the weekend, we were recommended to Aromas from a local and it did not disappoint! The coffee (cold brew and latte) was great, the food was filling and fast and the atmosphere was lovely! We will be back next time we are in town!!“

“Kingship coffee is so good I decided to serve it exclusively at my Bistro & Bakery. Viktor is expertly knowledgeable in the many facets of roasting and brewing, it is mind boggling. The customer service is a standard bearer for other local businesses.“
