“Their burgers are excellent and are pretty affordable. The signature donuts on a stick have great taste and texture. In comparison to other fast food chains, they are leagues better food and service wise. Definitely worth stopping by if in the area.“

We called less than two weeks before our surprise birthday lunch, worked out a great menu selection and were so happy with the communication, service and delivery from Cassie and her catering team. “Can get really busy and the wait can be a little long, but the food and drink never disappoint. All the staff are friendly.
The taco bowl with chicken is phenomenal and the spicy mango margarita is delicious!
Update 4 September 2026:
The renovations / additions are great! I think it helps reduce it being crowded. One area they could improve upon is to get their broken fans fixed! It will help with the flies that swarm you when sitting at the outside tables. Or get those little table fans that scares the flies away.
One last word of advice, double check your bill when it gets busy.“

“We LOVE this place! Today was my 2nd time there. Their chicken is excellent and they have a green sauce that goes with it and its FIRE. Today I got their Philly cheesesteak, 24 karat gold wings and fries and everything was delicious. Im pretty sure they use PROPER amoroso rolls for the bread. Everything was seasoned well, the wings were perfectly crispy(fried) and they have those crunchy, flaky fries that are just...elite.
The staff is always real friendly and hospitable and while the atmosohere isnt an immersive, soul soothing wonderland, it fits the bill for a Peruvian chicken joint with a MASSIVE menu thats open 24 hours a day in Newport News.
I HIGHLY recommend eating here.“

“Ordered on Uber Eats and everything was so delicious. We had chicken lo mein with fried chicken fried rice, crab rangoons, and General Tso's entree. The lo mein was so good! I really appreciate how fresh the vegetables tasted in each dish, the lettuce was actually crunchy and not mushy, and they even use mushrooms in the stir frys--such a good complimentary ingredient to add. Also, the prices for this place are well-priced and appreciated. We will be ordering from here again for sure.“

“Came here yesterday and had a really great experience. The restaurant was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The food was delicious and everything tasted fresh. It was actually their first day open, and they even gave us two free drinks which was such a nice surprise. We were really happy with the service and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!“

“With the unlimited sips club, Panera Bread has become my go-to for doing a cafe meetup with my kids or husband. It is now my homebase for writing my upcoming book. I love that I can sit and sip on their delicious beverages while writing, especially the dark roast and the charged up cold drinks. So delicious! The bread bowls are quite the reward to help motivate me to finish my next writing goal. I have fallen in love with this place! I love the unique chairs and sometimes the warm fire place.“

“Believe the hype!I don’t write reviews unless the food quality is actually great. This is the freshest Chinese food I’ve had in this area, it’s exactly the nostalgic kind of Chinese food I’ve been craving and can’t find anywhere else. The serving size was perfect for the price. With the inflation you can’t expect to feed a family of four with $20 so it’s unrealistic for people to ask of that. However if it’s an occasional treat this is perfect!The location is great, and the building is what you’d expect out of a traditional take out place. People are rude with their reviews because they expect something this place isn’t.The egg rolls that everyone loves to complain about in the reviews are actually a very specific type of egg roll that their uncultured behind probably aren’t aware of.“

“First I’ve tried Cheddars in years. Renewed my interest, I think I’ll be back. Prince was our waiter tonight. Though we differ in personality’s, he was friendly, informative and enlightening. I truly enjoyed our conversations with him. The food must always be good along with interactions with the server for an outstanding dining experience. We enjoyed our dinner at Cheddars tonight.“

“The hamburgers were hot, fresh and delicious. The food was prepared exactly like we ordered it. The onion rings were ok but not worth $6 at all. The burgers are overpriced but were very very good. The milkshakes are very good as well. Lots of flavor and exactly as ordered. We would come here more often but $45 for 2 burgers, 1 order onion rings and 2 shakes is too pricey for us. Staff was totally detached. Never spoke to a single soul. We were not greeted at all nor were we thanked for spending nearly $50 for hamburgers. They aka for a tip - off putting when you have to place your own order and clean your own table. Get your own water and ketchup. Why would I be expected to tip !?!? Very annoying! I do recommend the place but be aware you may need a second mortgage to pay the bill.“

“Stopped on an early Sunday afternoon in November. Both my wife an I ordered the Po'Boy with fried oysters. She had the homemade fresh fries and I paid a dollar extra for the "side salad". Both f us enjoyed the sandwiches that were made with fresh bread and 5 delicious oysters. She enjoyed the fries and I was overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the sala. My only complaint is that her Coke was $4.50. But then we were in something that resembled a bar. We would both come again when we are in the area,“
