An unexpected Wow! Large piping hot planks of cod in a crispy batter on a bed of delicious lightly seasoned chips (fries). The fried shrimp were also crispy and delicious, and the slaw was crunchy, creamy and a little sweet with a nice touch of red onion. Generous portions. It's all about that beautiful beer battered cod sandwich they have!UPDATE: They have a pub burger that had onion rings on it! Ended up getting some on my Cod sandwich! Nicknamed it The Banger!

Visited The Chipper today because I periodically crave what is the best fish/chips in the area! Always a friendly/informative greeting followed by hot/crunchy/flavorful haddock and chips! Throw in some creamy coleslaw and some curry sauce and you have a taste treat. The food is always hot, the prices are reasonable, and the people are friendly!Cheerio, Mate! I’ll be back soon..?
