“Do not let the outside fool you, the sushi is on point. The chicken yakisoba was excellent as well. Between all of us, we had 5 different sushi rolls and all were excellent. The Manhattan was by far our favorite. This was the best sushi we've had anywhere in a long time.

“I recently visited this Japanese restaurant and tried their lunch special, which included shrimp and veggie tempura along with katsu. The miso soup was definitely a highlight! Rich and flavorful! However, the side veggies were a bit bland, and while the tempura roll sushi was decent, it didn't quite stand out. Overall, it was a solid experience, earning a 4-star rating for the good miso soup and the satisfying katsu and tempura. Would recommend for a casual lunch!“

“This is no longer Molly’s, but very similar. The portion sizes are off - I asked for 2 toppings of crab salad and got maybe half of one. I asked for 3 salmon and I saw them put 2 scoops. Other than portions, the quality is very good and prices are fair. The smoothies are bussin 10/10.“

“It is kind of pricey but it is all you can eat Japanese food including sushi which is surprising. Walked in starving and had to be rolled out stuffed. All the food was great and not what I expected from all you can eat style. Normally the quality suffers when you can have as much as you want. It was $36 for all you can eat plus my drink. That would be the cost if I went anywhere else and got 5 sushi rolls and I ate that plus other menu items including delicious gyoza, chicken skewers, miso soup, and I can keep going on. I ate my fair share and wanted to get more but had to stop. Great service and great place to go with friends.“

“Nori Japan... was probably the first place I ever tried teriyaki chicken all the way back in 2003 or 2004. I was blown away and by high school I was a fixture there ordering the teriyaki chicken with double meat, on rice or noodle, with no veg probably two to three times a month until I moved away. Then every single time I'm back home the first place I stop is at the Chesapeake Square Mall and sure enough the familiar faces that have been working and owning Nori Japan for years are there to greet me, they still remember my order, and the teriyaki sauce is still my favorite in all of the world and I've had teriyaki chicken in places all over the world from Tokyo to Bangkok to hell London to Hollywood and still... Nori Japan Chesapeake holds that #1 spot for teryiaki chicken for me.

This place is an institution and a corner stone of the area. A a true blessing of a restaurant, I can promise yall that.

“This is such an amazing establishment! It was my first time dining here and I must say that I had a great experience. It was very easy to place my order on the tablet that they had set up and once it was placed it was sent right over to the staff. The staff there was so polite, friendly, and extremely sweet! We did not have to wait long to receive our food and the staff member that provided it to us was very kind. I ordered the Japanese ramen bowl with shrimp and it was absolutely amazing! My base was the miso soup. It was a perfect portion size for the amount that I paid and I also ordered the fruit drinks that they have. I most certainly will be returning to this establishment and would love to try other things! My friend that was able to come with me tried the poke bowl and loved it! Great customer service and great experience! I highly recommend this place!“

“We placed an order for pick up online and website said 15 minutes until order ready. It was a few minutes less. I went to the pick up window at 12 minutes, expecting a wait. The man brought our order to the window right away. So they were on point with their order prep today (Sun 10/20). The rolls here are always good. We order from here, maybe once every 2-3 months, abs have never had anything that wasn't tasty. There are many sushi restaurants in the area, and Ninja Sushi is always reliable.“
