“I came here at the recommendation of a Japanese Yoga Instructor who was working in Virginia Beach, and it was amazing! I went by myself, sat at the bar comfortably in peace. I had the Hiro Roll, the New York Roll, the Chanwanmushi, and got I believe Tendon to go, as well as a creme Brule. I could have eaten here every day. The sushi chef is from Nagoya, and very kind. I lived in Japan for 4 years, and this took me right back. Prices also match that! Nothing was ridiculously priced, I just ordered a lot. Hiro Roll was my favorite. Ah, and all with a glass of cold plum wine on a summer day. In total it was around $70, but that was my rolls, with an alcoholic drink, and another meal to go with dessert... Thank you to the entire staff for making such delicious food and keeping such a peaceful atmosphere.“

“We came here on a Saturday for a birthday dinner with 12 people and made a reservation. It was surprisingly not very busy. There is a small bar by the door where you can order drinks while you wait around if you do end up waiting but we were seated and our orders were all taken. Everything comes with a little miss soup and salad before the cook comes out. The cook will come out with everyone's food at the same time to cook in front of you and make a few jokes and show off his skills. Everything was tasty and it went by in a timely fashion.“

“For teriyaki chicken that you get from the mall. This is so good! This stuff is delicious. I will get it with the noodles and a triple meat. Get a cup of extra teriyaki sauce. Take it home. Saute it on the stove with the extra sauce. Oh man, it's even better for breakfast left over. Made the same way“

“My favorite place to get poke. The portions are big for the price, so I always leave full. The rice and fish are flavorful and fresh. The boba is also really good. I've tried their orange chicken as well - it's okay but the poke is the better option in my opinion. Their dine in area is nice for a quick lunch.“

“This Sarku Japan location at Greenbrier mall is ABSOLUTELY way better than the Sarku Japan at Lynnhaven mall. Not only did they get all of our orders correct as we asked for, the workers treated us with respect, unlike Lynnhaven mall’s location, which was very unpleasant because of the rude workers and them making the orders however they feel like making them. Greenbrier mall’s Sarku Japan is a 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!“
