Often in a place with lots of nice decorations I tend to focus on the dust...I didn't see any here! The staff was so friendly and nice - she even gave us a complimentary iron man roll! Which was phenomenal!! It was so delicious! Highly recommend the Volvo Roll, also! The sushi tasted fresh, too! Iykyk!! 10/10 recommend and yes we will be back! The meats are tender, the vegetables are perfectly cooked, and the fried rice is some of the best I've had. The chefs put on a fun and entertaining show that makes the experience just as enjoyable as the meal itself. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the quality is consistently excellent. “Daikichi has been the most consistently excellent sushi spot for over 20 years. Hiro, the owner, personally selects and prepares fish daily. For an authentic and delicious experience you must go to Daikichi. My personal favorites are the spicy cucumber salad, calamari roll and Daikichi roll but dont take my word for it, 食う!!“

“Amazing sushi, very fresh!! Spicy city roll was our favorite, and Crazy Tuna roll was yummy too. We started with edamame and steamed shumai, both steamed perfectly. Our server was great, attentive and sweet. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

Update 4/14/26: Tokyo Love Story roll is my new personal fav! We try new sushi places every now and then but ALWAYS end up back at Oishi!“

“Great sushi itamaes (chefs) here that really have great presentations and attention to detail! Waiters and staff are super nice and attentive. If your nice to them they will sometimes bring you free samples of ice cream and spring rolls! Owner is super nice and cares about her staff and customers!“

“We had a lovely dinner there tonight to celebrate my eldest son’s birthday. The sushi was not only beautiful, it was delicious. We also enjoyed pad Thai, pad see eaw, and Thai basil chicken. Friendly prompt service with delicious food.“

“We came here on our first date and Sarah was our waitress. First of all the food in the sushi bar is cooked in the kitchen not the hibachi area, so please don’t harass the wait staff about this!

“We came here on a Saturday for a birthday dinner with 12 people and made a reservation. It was surprisingly not very busy. There is a small bar by the door where you can order drinks while you wait around if you do end up waiting but we were seated and our orders were all taken. Everything comes with a little miss soup and salad before the cook comes out. The cook will come out with everyone's food at the same time to cook in front of you and make a few jokes and show off his skills. Everything was tasty and it went by in a timely fashion.“
