“I have been coming here almost since he opened. The food is next level, I place him at the top of all the places I've dined. He doesn't always go in for the "extras" like Dry Ice or specialty dishware, but instead invest his dollars in assuring the finest quality fish available. If he doesn't like the quality available, it won't be on his menu today. He will always take the time to discuss your preferences and concerns and will "customize" your food around that. The restraint itself can use a little face lift (something I know he has been fighting the Landlord over), but that's one of the things that makes this truly "A Diamond in the Rough).“

“We've been eating here for many years. This is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Virginia Beach. The food is always hot and fresh. The service is top notch. The portions are very generous. The lettuce wraps are to die for. Every dish I've had here is absolutely fantastic. Large, tender cuts of chicken are in every chicken dish we've had. From the Generals chicken, which my husband loves, to my favorite, Steak Wobar, we always leave satisfied. Even the sushi is delicious. Every dish you can think of from a Chinese restaurant is here and then some and all are at a higher level of quality than the average Chinese restaurant. There are even some unique delicious and very reasonably priced cocktails that are absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant for the best Chinese cuisine in the entire Hampton Roads area.

“A great place for sushi as well as cooked items. Plenty of selections whether you want sushi, sashimi, or rolls. All are made to order and the preparation of the fish is how it's supposed to be (if you're knowledgeable about sushi, it's not just about how fresh a fish is because some prep requires curing or marinading, which obviously means at least a day or more before the fish is served). The presentations are beautiful and everything tasted great. If you're not a fan of sushi (again, if you're knowledgeable and are turned off by the 'raw' nature, by US standards it's barely as fresh as that of other countries where they're literally taking the fish out of a fish tank, alive, and butchering it and preparing right then and there) then there are items from the kitchen like Teriyaki or Tempura or even Katsu. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.“

“First time ever going . From walking into the doors to leaving . We had nothing but great customer service . We didn’t make reservations and had a seat for 7 ready in 10 minutes . While they were already busy . Everyone was friendly . Our server was new but wouldn’t know it because she was great . Our chef was AMAZING ! Everyone LOVED him. Food was PREFECT! All of kids had a blast . The shims catching in the mouth game was a big hit . My youngest daughter was glued the whole time and already asking to go back to see fire and the nice food man. Even leaving the host was taking to my 9 month old son. While going to my car to feed to my son one of the workers even offered to let me feed in his office because it’s cold out . I just loved the family vibe . I highly recommend if you are looking for a great place . Also sushi was on point too! Nothing but positive feed back here . “If in comparison with a sushi buffet place, this is my number one.

The service was genuinely great. They all have smile to their faces and nice. We got all our orders on point. They even gave my son a chopstick helper for kids (which I am keeping ?).

I enjoyed their appetizers, we got the BBQ squid which was cooked to perfection, not gummy at all and the sauce! ?

I also enjoyed the aged tofu which was entertaining to eat and to be served the seaweed flakes moves along.

And between the sushi’s we enjoyed their fried selection more and the sashimi plate for me.

It is definitely worth a try! ???

“I’ve ordered pick up/take out from here through Uber eats twice. They had a buy one get one special. And I’m visiting from a different state. I got the teriyaki chicken with rice. It was a large portion size. The entree was pretty delicious, they provide sauce on the side such as yum yum and/ or crushed peppers to add some kick to it.
The only potential improvement would be the amount of vegetables or should I say lack of. The first time I ordered it regular just the chicken & rice. The second time I spent a little extra for the broccoli & cabbage but as you can see it was a small amount.
It’s still a great spot for a great size entree!“
