“I can’t say I have had better sushi in my entire life. Sakura Sushi Bar and Restaurant on Upton drive in Red Mill is in my opinion the best sushi restaurant in our area. The freshness and quality of their sushi is beyond outstanding. They have fish that you do not normally find in restaurants in Tidewater.They have fish that is not commonly found in our area. They have uni, salmon belly sweet shrimp and monkfish liver. The owner Ken and Manger Selena are gracious and inviting people.Next time you want to go out for Sushi you most definitely cannot go wrong eating here“
“A great place if you're looking for simple and quiet as far as a sushi bar and kitchen goes. The focus is mostly nigiri, maki and then teppan entrees. Didn't have the teppan but had a couple of rolls and nigiri. Remember, sushi is less about the freshest fish and more about its preparation, which is excellent in this regard. It all leads to deliciousness in everything I had. The staff are polite and professional, they are very sociable. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.“

“I started going to Osaka at ODU. Once I moved out this way, I switched to this location. The food and service is great both here and at ODU. They were a bit behind on my pickup order today and the waitress kept apologizing and asking if I wanted anything extra. I assured her it was completely fine, but I ended up with extra goodies in my bag anyway. The rolls here are much thicker compared to any other place I've been, so it's always worth the trip!“

“Best sushi in Virginia Beach! All members of the staff who took care of us, including the hostess, were very kind and attentive. Everything we ate was extremely fresh and the service was excellent! The menu offers so many different options, beyond sushi, so it's a great place to go if you're dining with a group of that includes people who aren't too crazy about the raw (or even cooked) fish thing. “Came here on 2 different Friday nights and ordered takeout (delivery) once. Just moved back from living in Japan for 3 years and wanted to find a really good sushi spot. Both Fridays that I visited, the wait staff was very transparent with the wait time before I was seated. The first night was quick because I got a kitchen appetizer and sashimi. But rolls take a bit longer because the chef is meticulous with each one. Which is great! The second Friday I was there it was way busier, and they brought out free appetizers to all of the customers for waiting… above and beyond what I expected! I ended up getting my sushi order to go because I had to get my kid from her event, but I had the soup, salad, and appetizer while I waited. Everything was great and I will continue to go back because the service is also top notch.“

She was the only waitress working tonight but she did an excellent job serving everyone in a fast timely manner. We did not wait long for our food to come out. The presentation was nice and the food tasted great.Parking: Sometimes the parking can be difficult to find. It's a small parking lot shared by other businesses. Sometimes you might have to park down the other side of the strip and walk to wherever your going.“
“We had lunch there to celebrate an anniversary of mine. I try to go to Inaka at least once a week. The food is delicious, fresh, fast, and always served with a smile. I feel like I am a member of their family because they always welcome me with open…chopsticks! On this day I had spicy tuna roll and salmon avocado (added cucumber) roll…so tasty! They also let us try a new salad dressing they are creating. It is similar to the dressing they usually serve but not as sweet and with a taste of citrus. I hope they put that on the menu. The sushi seemed to take a while even though there was a lot of wait staff because it appeared there were only two people making food. My husband and I love sushi. About 2/3rd of the menu is sushi, but we didn’t like the sushi or my usual favorite - shrimp tempura. The egg rolls are huge. The rice extremely generous portions. We have a whole other meal for two as leftovers.The service was great. “I really enjoyed this place! When I first walked in with my friend we were confused on where to order but we quickly realized they expected you to order on tablets. Which is no biggie, you can order at a register but the lady there was just on her phone and didn't really talk to us so I didn't want to bother her. One thing I did like when it came to the tablets is that it asked about all the details like how much ice I wanted in my drink and you could add a LOT of boba to your drink.Having never been here before it was actually SUPER GOOD. You can see the drinks me and my friend got in the photos. He got a mango smoothie and I got a lychee green tea, both had strawberry boba in them and they were amazingly good!! I'd highly recommend coming back here. The cups that they hand you boba in are also in a hard plastic so they're honestly reusable silverware if you wanted to keep them overall, 10/10 place and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good boba spot in the area. “First time ever going . From walking into the doors to leaving . We had nothing but great customer service . We didn’t make reservations and had a seat for 7 ready in 10 minutes . While they were already busy . Everyone was friendly . Our server was new but wouldn’t know it because she was great . Our chef was AMAZING ! Everyone LOVED him. Food was PREFECT! All of kids had a blast . The shims catching in the mouth game was a big hit . My youngest daughter was glued the whole time and already asking to go back to see fire and the nice food man. Even leaving the host was taking to my 9 month old son. While going to my car to feed to my son one of the workers even offered to let me feed in his office because it’s cold out . I just loved the family vibe . I highly recommend if you are looking for a great place . Also sushi was on point too! Nothing but positive feed back here .
