Very impressive family sushi restaurant with passion for their food! They put the chain sushi restaurants in the area to shame. Here I started with individual pieces of sushi, and then a Virginia Eel Roll with a bowl of miso soup.The temperature of the fish was slightly chilled below room temp, so as you eat, it gets to the right temperature for eating sushi. My husband and I have been visiting this sushi place for years and I must say, the chef's skills are exceptional! Every piece of fish is perfectly cut and we can't get enough of their sashimi. A great place if you're looking for simple and quiet as far as a sushi bar and kitchen goes. The focus is mostly nigiri, maki and then teppan entrees. Didn't have the teppan but had a couple of rolls and nigiri. Remember, sushi is less about the freshest fish and more about its preparation, which is excellent in this regard.
