“Here goes, I was hungry in the area. I walk this Spot I heard about. Owner was cool. I ordered a Turkey egg cheese croissant. Someone after me ordered the same but with extra butter. I get my sandwich and it's made like the person ordered. I looked all greasy i was kinda upset. I tasted that thing and lost my mind. The turkey was like carved Turkey. That sandwich was one of the best I ever had. I am scared to get hooked on it cause I might die early.“
“I’ve eaten a lot of sandwiches, but this place definitely has the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. My favorite is the Roast Beef French Dip sandwich. I’m from out of town and will definitely lobby to get a Which Wich where I live. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Absolutely the best Phillie cheesesteak in the area. Probably the whole city of Norfolk, maybe even Hampton Roads.I've been going semi-weekly for lunch in between classes for a year now maybe, it's perfect 80% of the time and good for the rest -- last time was a lil dry, but you can't win em all. In contrast, the Sunday I brought my dad in was probably the best sandwich either of us had had in our entire lives.I get the 7 inch beef w/ green peppers, onions, pickles, mustard, provolone and pepper jack. Garlic parmesan fries on the side and any soda. The 7-inch is more than enough and still well-worth it despite the recent price increase. Keep it simple and your life will be easier everywhere you go.Service and atmosphere are great -- there's normally old Wrestlemania shows on one TV and some kinda music channel on the other, always a treat. It's closer to ordering takeout than a big customer service experience, but the owner is great and the staff are always able to help if you ever have an issue.Lots of people don't realize they have a dining room downstairs and think the little front room is all they got; I didn't realize until literally 3 weeks ago, after coming in for over a year. That's mostly my fault, but if I had one suggestion, probably put up a sign.Absolute gem, nothing but love for the place.“
“Happened to find this place bc I was craving a cheesesteak and our usual spot was closed. What a blessing that was. Parking required navigating around the back of the business to an empty lot (or approach via an apron on the adjacent one way (26th?) and risk hitting a concrete slab corner. I saw cars parked curbside, but wasn't sure if it was permitted or not. So be prepared. I opted for a Philly cheesesteak hoagie with a toasted bun, sweet peppers, and oil. Man was it good! Generous helping of meat, crunchy yet soft roll. It was so good that I started on the second half knowing I shouldn't, was already full, and going to be bursting soon. There were some other menu options that sounded good so we'll have to go back and check them out again soon. Afterwards, I spent some time talking to the owner (nice chap) about the business; he leaves his personal cell number up by the register in the event that there's a problem.Highly recommend!“
“I don’t write ratings so consider this even better…. This place slaps. I came in here after cutting down some trees with the crew down the street and clearing a back lot of growth debris. I ate the steak and mushroom with provolone. Seriously, that stuff slapped so hard. Simple, amazing, and I wanted more than the footlong. I will definitely be back.“
