“The staff was courteous and the food was delicious. It was a little expensive but worth it. I had not been there in several years since I no longer live in Norfolk. However, it is still home to me. This is one of the places I miss!I bought a family pack of chicken tenders with sides of mac and cheese and greens. It was more than enough for my family with plenty left over.“

“The best chicken I've had in a long time nice staff it did take quite a while but it was well worth it Mac and cheese could have been cooked a little less guess that's the Italian in me to have my pasta El Dante LOL the restaurant was being done over so half of the dining room was shut off and kind of tore up but honestly honestly I was there to see the dining room“

“The last time I posted on here I gave it a really good review. I have not been here in a while and I was not impressed with the food. I always get the 4 piece chicken special and I was not happy with what I got. The quality went down a little bit and the price went up. I know that prices change but your quality should never change. I hope you come back to what you were before.“

“I'm the girl that orders the #5 unsauce all flats... And I walked up to the counter and Anthony (who I found out later was the general manager!!) Was like, welcome back, wings? I'm dropping new ones right now...At this point,I haven't said anything.. but he remembered me AND my order! I had a big smile and said yes, thank you!Then when I go to check out... Tynijah said hi, all flats right? And I still haven't really said anything but she ALSO remembered me and what kind of wings I order!! The two employees didn't even have an exchange between each other and they both knew me from separate occasions.Wow. I'm very impressed with this team. It's a Thursday night and their customer service was awesome :)“

“They use to have great chicken but not any.ore...the chicken is doughie...they have changed their coating recipe and seasoning...more expensive...not worth the trip, sad to say...last review was 7 years ago...things have surely changed...(Loved their chicken and sides...with the exception of their collards...they taste like canned greens...even with obvious seasoning in them...store has been updated and customer service is the best...chicken parts are small but they have the best chicken in Hampton Roads...) no longer true..“

“I have mixed thoughts on my last visit to Church's Chicken. We went to this fast food place in college but they seem to be struggling with business. There are homeless people outside in the parking lot asking for money. The atmosphere is not the best. I didn't feel safe ordering my food. As I was leaving, a young man on a bike tried to get my attention and ask for money. I quickly departed from the parking lot. I will not return to this place of business.“

“Kimberly is the best ineveryday. Customer Service, cool calm & collected.Big bus from norfolk state was here along with walk in Customers. Kimberly's team pulled together as a team without any strife or temperament changes with the Pressure ???????“

“I’ve been a resident of OV for 20+ years and usually try to avoid this spot due to past experience. Tonight, this all changed. I didn’t feel like a j*** just for ordering. When I walked in, Malcolm (the gentleman working the front) greeted me with a huge smile and was genuinely happy to take my order. As I was putting my card in the chip reader, he gave me a military discount because of the bank I use (and I didn’t even ask). The whole crew there seemed to enjoy their evening and I believe it’s the first time I’ve ordered here and it didn’t sound like the normal complaints from the crew. I can’t say I will be at this store everyday, but I will say that I will no longer drive by this restaurant looking the other way. Thank you Malcolm and all the crew working on this rainy night. You all are superstars!“
