“I have been coming here for quite some time now and there has not been a time that I have eaten here and have had a BAD meal. Never has that happened. All the staff are very professional and courteous toward all clients that eat here. It is composed of a Wonderful Greek family doing what they know how to do. Prepare food in the best way they know how to. Fresh and delicious each and every time. I am getting ready to move to the Richmond area, I will miss going here a lot. “Sunnyside was in walking distance to our hotel. We opted for Sunnyside rather than the expensive hotel breakfast. Sasha waited on us and was so patient with our very (very!) indecisive kiddos. She was also very attentive to our beverage refills and was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered French toast combos and waffle combos. Everything was very good and we all left with very full bellies! Cant wait to come back!“

“We loved our breakfast here! They were able to seat our group quickly on a weekend morning. Our server Sylvia was so sweet and kind and was an excellent server. The prices were very affordable and the food was delicious. The staff checked on us and if we were enjoying our meal and wished us well when we left. We enjoyed our time here and would come again.“

“Absolutely love this place! My husband and I stayed at the Moxy Hotel while in town for the Dave Matthews Band concert! I honestly have So Much To Say about how great the Belvedere Coffee Shop and Diner is! This place was the perfect solution after Staying Up and Making Memories and that post-concert morning fog! Good coffee and delicious food with a nostalgic diner vibe. Spoon in spoon, stirring my coffee, we sat up at the counter and enjoyed watching the griddle magic and chatting with the staff on a busy morning making plans to change the world.

I had the banana and chocolate chip pancakes - cooked to fluffy perfection and so tasty that syrup is really optional. My husband had the Eye Opener that was a breakfast masterpiece with the griddle fried tomatoes as the star of the show!

“Well, well, well… we meet again, WH. I’ll admit, ya girl was a little skeptical at first. The reviews almost seemed a lil too good, but y’all proved me wrong. The food was mfin good! Do yourself a favor and get the cheesesteak melt. No regrets.
Definitely one of my go-to spots now when I need a greasy, easy meal 🤧

“We had planned to go to the pancake place across from our hotel. We saw the line an hour wait! So we asked google breakfast places near 34 th street!! Bam there was Chubbs!! Greeted us with friendly smile, sat us quickly and waitress came over for drinks We had a Bloody Mary Awesome and a watermelon mojito!! Perfect !! Ordered food and delicious!! This is a local restaurant and amazing!! 34th street in walking distance!! Go and Enjoy !!“

“We had a very tasty breakfast from the menu because the buffet was not yet available since it's only March and not yet season. The portions were substantial and freshly made. Our server was friendly and helpful (unfortunately I don't recall her name) but she was delightful! I would definitely patronize the Greenery again next time I'm in Virginia Beach!“

“We have been on vacation from Tn this week and very first day we had the pleasure of getting Kelvin as our server. Then the next day we go and again Kelvin takes us right back to his section. 3rd day unfortunately he was off but we met Kendra who was great too. 4th day Kelvin saw us and no question he got us seated quick and in his section.
5th morning he spotted me as soon as I walked in and told me to come on. Kelvin is one of a kind. He is pleasant and keeps checking on you. He goes above n beyond and when he’s not with a table, he’s finding something to do.
I called the mgr Ann over and told her she had a gem working for her and hoped she recognized him as a fantastic worker. He even knows what I’m ordering without even no glitch. We told him we’re leaving tomorrow but would be making our morning stop before heading back to the Smoky Mtns of Tn so he made sure to let us know what time he came in❤❤❤“

The food was fresh, the portions were a great size — honestly more than we expected — and the fries were delicious. The service was very, very good. Our server was a sweet young lady from Turkey, and she was so kind and attentive, which made the experience even better.
