If you haven’t been to JMT Vegan Eats at 5660 Indian River Rd Suite 110 in Virginia Beach yet you are truly missing out on something special. The moment you step inside you can feel the warmth not just from the kitchen but from the people. The staff greet you like family the space feels bright and cozy and there’s this undeniable sense of care that fills the air. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, laugh, and just enjoy good food made with real love. I decided to go all in and ordered two milkshakes the Vanilla and the Oreo and let me tell you they were nothing short of amazing. The vanilla shake was creamy, smooth, and perfectly sweet like the kind of milkshake you dream about on a hot day. But the Oreo shake pure heaven. Thick, rich, and packed with that perfect cookies and cream crunch. It was indulgent in the best way possible and the fact that it’s completely vegan blew my mind. You don’t miss dairy here you forget it ever existed. Then came the Philly Vegan Steak and honestly I still can’t stop thinking about it. The steak was tender and flavorful with perfectly sautéed peppers and onions that gave every bite the ideal mix of sweetness and spice. The texture was so spot on, you’d swear you were eating the real thing only lighter and more satisfying. It’s comfort food with a conscience and it’s absolutely delicious. Next up was the burger and wow JMT really knows how to do it right. The patty was juicy and flavorful cooked to perfection and paired with crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, and a soft, slightly toasted bun. Every bite was balanced messy in the best kind of way and bursting with flavor. It’s the kind of burger that makes you pause mid meal just to appreciate how good it is. You can tell the chef puts heart into every single plate that leaves that kitchen. For dessert, I tried both the cupcakes and a strawberry sprinkle doughnut, and they were pure happiness in dessert form. The cupcakes were moist, fluffy, and topped with silky frosting that melted in your mouth. Then the doughnut soft, sweet, and topped with pink icing and colorful sprinkles was like a burst of nostalgia and joy all at once. “Wonderful hidden gem in VB central to oceanfront and town center. Delicious European desserts that are light, airy and unusual with wonderful unique flavor combinations. So many are too pretty to eat but I find a way. lol. Sandwiches, soups and salads along with a few other choices for those looking for a light lunch. Try the beet salad, you won’t be sorry! “If you are feeling adventurous, I encourage to take the drive to this restaurant especially if you love espresso martinis. Every time I go, everything is consistent. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is amazing as well. Menu has many options. The owner is also hands on and is welcoming to guests and appreciative of anyone who comes to this establishment and makes everyone feels valued. “It’s not a typical place to find a cafe but it’s convenient for the office building workers/personnel to have a great cafe that serves breakfast and lunch items.
Place seats 14 people which includes 5 at the bar/counter. There are live plants and
TV not turned on. Large floor to ceiling windows give bright light and view to the parking lot
Very friendly owners - husband is the chef and the wife is the front person/hostess/cashier.
I ordered bibimbap (not on menu but on the daily board, so you need to check out all that’s posted!). Bibimbap was really delicious! So much so that I asked if they have other Korean not on the menu list: they have bulgogi, spicy pork and fried rice. So I decided to order bulgogi to go for tonight’s dinner! In photos would be the bulgogi - the meat looks slightly anemic (not typical darker brown) but it is good!
Definitely highly unilaterally recommend everyone to try Cafe Flora.“

When I moved back to the neighborhood this past May I decided to check the place out. Awesome food, awesome people who run the place and it is awesome to see my old friends and people that I grew up with in the neighborhood. “We really enjoyed our late breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Virginia Beach. Our server, Aston, actually seated us and was so friendly and professional. He was an outstanding server answering all of our questions and was very attentive. He suggested a couple of his favorite entrees and we were not disappointed. The pumpkin donuts were a nice bite size. They were cooked perfectly without being dried out. I preferred the caramel sauce over the creme sauce. My husband ordered the traditional breakfast sandwich. The bacon on that was huge! (I managed to snag a piece of it 🤣🤣). We each ordered a specialty drink. My honey crunch iced coffee was super sweet (which I expected, but tasted more like a mocha). My husband's Blazing Dragon was delicious too, which I ended up finishing 🤣)“

“A few weeks ago, I posted that this Panera was tops in service, food, cleanliness, etc., outshining the Panera at Kempsville and Lynnhaven Mall.

They proved it again today. My order was for a few Pick 2s, one of which was missing the sandwich. I asked Quincy about it. He saw the order checklist showed it being prepared but didn't see it. He promptly had another sandwich made, full not half mind you, and I threw in a bag of chips. Way to go, Quincy! I happily told the manager about his service. Thanks, Quincy!“

The staff were friendly, but the food took a bit longer than I expected to come out, and a couple of the items could have been prepared better.

“I called the bakery today I live in New Jersey. I have a friend that is ill and in a facility close by the bakery today is her birthday. I had no way of getting down there to bring her a cake. I asked the woman on the phone do you deliver and she said we really don’t and then I explained the situation and she’s so kindly said That when she closed the store, she will personally deliver it herself. That was the sweetest thing I’ve heard in a very long time and I want to tell you that you brought tears to and the biggest smile to my friend today. “I was very reluctant to go to a Panera again but did so with my Dad for lunch today waiting for my truck to be done at Beach Ford. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the place from the windows, counters, tables and carpets. (Yes, I look at that stuff) The manager & staff were great too. They actually looked like they were happy to be there. The food was great, fresh & hot! Maybe it’s unfair to compare two locations but the difference is night & day. Keep up the great work. I will go out of my way to come again to this location even though Kemps River location is way more convenient on my way to work.“

“I like this Starbucks because the staff seem conscientious. However, I noticed recently they moved the mobile pick up tray to the front of the store. It's a busy store with a lot of people standing and passing that area. There is no sneeze guard or protection for your drinks and food. There are also a fairly consistent number of homeless and/or individuals that solicit money for food ect. in that area. It might be better to move the food and drinks back to a more secure and hygienic location.“

“Great selection of singles for Pokemon TCG. They also have lots of bulk boxes and tables in the back so you can sip on a drink, listen to some music and sort through cards. Found alot of older pokemon commons that I can used for my art and crafts. Nice staff. Clean store. Highly recommend!

Also they have like every pokemon plush you can think off and lots of retro candy. Very cool! Great place for kids.“
