“First time eating here after having heard great things.. everyone was right. We sat at the bar and watched the bartender make all of the delicious coffee drinks while we chatted with the other bar top eaters. We watched as the meals came out of the kitchen for those that were seated at the tables and booths and were amazed at the size of the portions. We ordered shrimp and grits and also the he meat lovers omlet with the loaded tots. Too much to eat which was great because everything tasted wonderful so the leftovers will be devoured. Great little place that is very popular so be prepared to wait to eat but I promise you won’t be disappointed!!“

I got the Commune burger, because I am a harsh food critic and have been trying a lot of vegan food lately for my sister and daughter, who are vegans looking for good food when they visit. I’ll be honest, the patty is super crumbly, so there is some difficulty eating it. But the flavor is amazing. For people who want a vegan burger that tastes like beef, this is absolutely not it, but I promise you it’s delicious. I asked for ketchup, and all they had was beet ketchup. I didn’t even know this was a thing, but omg it was the best condiment I’ve ever tasted. It was the perfect compliment to the burger. 8/10, highly recommend. If they ever get that patty worked out to where it doesn’t crumble all over your plate every bite, it would be a 10.“
“I had the tuna and my son had the calamari. Both were phenomenal. The tuna was not like tuna bites you get at most restaurants. This was SUPER tender for real!! At first you think it won’t be enough but it really was. I have had calamari that was not fresh, and when it’s not fresh, it is like rubber I’m very hard to chew, but this calamari was very tender, and had an excellent sauce that accompanied it . We also ordered the Spiced Rum Cake that was delicious. We had two servers, first of female, and then a male and both of them were excellent, however, I do want to say the male was more attentive, but both were awesome. We went on a Saturday in the middle of the afternoon and it was not busy at all. Although it was raining a lot outside, so that might’ve had something to do with it. They do have outside seating, which I would imagine in the summertime would be great.“

The bar is small, only two or three tables inside, and they aren't open all the time...but well worth the stop for the hush puppies alone! Great view of the beach, will definitely be back in the summer to sit outside. The chef even offered to whip me up some homemade honey butter, but the sauce they already had was fantastic! “I've gone to this theater quite often over the years. I enjoy watching movies along with having table service during the show. I never have to miss the movie. You just hit a button that lights up when you need service. Other than going to the restroom, I never have to leave my seat. The chairs are so comfortable and there is more room for your body than the normal theater. This place is an experience. The staff is courteous and friendly. The theater, the entry way, and the bathrooms are always kept clean. Tickets are fairly priced and so is the food. Please yall, tip your server. They absolutely deserve it and are amazing at their job. Fantastic place to go. Highly recommend.“

There was confusion with what server was going to take care of us and we waited for almost 30 minutes, and no one came out and took our order. So the taste of this sausage also is not for me.) other than the breakfast sausage, the cakes, cupcakes are good. The pancakes are good. “I called the bakery today I live in New Jersey. I have a friend that is ill and in a facility close by the bakery today is her birthday. I had no way of getting down there to bring her a cake. I asked the woman on the phone do you deliver and she said we really don’t and then I explained the situation and she’s so kindly said That when she closed the store, she will personally deliver it herself. That was the sweetest thing I’ve heard in a very long time and I want to tell you that you brought tears to and the biggest smile to my friend today.
