Corolla SideBar is a hidden gem on the OBX and a hidden treasure of Corolla. It is the perfect spot to grab a drink and catch the game. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool with a laid-back local vibe. The bar has a great beer selection with something for everyone, including IPAs, stouts, sours, and dark choices. The tap line is excellent with plenty of variety from local and other breweries. There are also choices from the bar for spirits. No fancy cocktails or overly complicated menus—just great beer, wine, and liquor served strong, cold, and fast. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. The owners are really nice and know their stuff. Pups are allowed to come inside. Whether watching the Chiefs game, sipping a craft beer after a long beach day, or unwinding with a glass of wine at sunset, this spot nails the simple pleasures. It is a no-frills, all-vibes kind of place with a friendly and comfortable bar scene. Highly recommended.
