“Tremendous on all accounts!… fantastic cocktails, delicious food, superior service, and an amazing view. I have never enjoyed waiting for a table more!…sitting outside under the gazebo on the deck that stretches into the sound, wonderful outside bar (try the Chocolate Martini!), and Yacht Rock over the speakers. We could have stayed out there all night and been content. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t say how great the food was inside, and the service was impeccable. (Richard was our waiter, and he is a GEM! Excellent service like he extended to our group is a lost art.) Can’t wait to see you again next year!“

“Really friendly hostess and great waitress. Stopped in with our 3 month old baby and hostess offered to hold her so I could eat my food and waitress was super attentive and sweet. It’s nice to have great service. Seems to not be the case most places anymore. We only got drinks and an app but definitely would go back!“

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. We ate there on the second night of our stay and no one in the family was disappointed. I had the grilled salmon salad special and coming from a tough critic, it was DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the "vibe" was just the same as we remembered. We can't wait to visit again.“

“Small but very fun locals place to hang out, catch a band, have a few drinks with a snack and catch the game. Plus being on the pier is a plus on a nice day for the great ocean views.

“Myself and my 2 year old boy went there for a late dinner after a long day at the beach and I was blown away with the hospitality and service of everyone there, especially Yusuf. He paid me a compliment I will never forget. He told me “You’re doing a great job, keep it up” as a single dad that meant more than words can explain. I stopped him shortly after and thank him for his compliment to which he said “he is so happy and friendly because of you and you should be proud.” we continued enjoying our delicious food. Everyone there was beyond nice to my son who would say hi and give fist bumps to everyone that walked by then finished up with some cake and cookies. As I was waiting for the check another server came up and informed me that I don’t need to wait for my check and someone had taken care of it for us which made me tear up as thing have been rough lately but I always do everything I can to give my son a happy and good life and when I asked who. He said they had already gone but I received a blessing I deserved. I will never forget tonight and the kindness of everyone that works there and the wonderful person that I never got to thank. So if by some chance you read this. Thank you truly.“

“Beautiful restaurant located on the water with terrific sunset views. We were celebrating my birthday and the evening was perfect! Lauren was our waitress and was absolutely awesome! The band was very talented and had the whole restaurant join in singing me a birthday song. We enjoyed the fried seafood platter and the broiled seafood platter.Both were well prepared. Presentation was excellent and taste was exquisite! We decided on the heath bar cake for dessert but had to get it to go as we were well satisfied.“
