“We had a great experience yesterday with this crew. We found 4 dolphins and ended up following a pod of 3 for a good 20 minutes. It was relaxing and entertaining. We learned about info about the area and how the container ships dock. Would totally go out with them again!“

“Tremendous on all accounts!… fantastic cocktails, delicious food, superior service, and an amazing view. I have never enjoyed waiting for a table more!…sitting outside under the gazebo on the deck that stretches into the sound, wonderful outside bar (try the Chocolate Martini!), and Yacht Rock over the speakers. We could have stayed out there all night and been content. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t say how great the food was inside, and the service was impeccable. (Richard was our waiter, and he is a GEM! Excellent service like he extended to our group is a lost art.) Can’t wait to see you again next year!“

“Really friendly hostess and great waitress. Stopped in with our 3 month old baby and hostess offered to hold her so I could eat my food and waitress was super attentive and sweet. It’s nice to have great service. Seems to not be the case most places anymore. We only got drinks and an app but definitely would go back!“

“Our first time here and we had a lovely meal. We had wanted to check out a local steakhouse for our anniversary dinner, but the wait was so long we decided on Captain George's.
My husband did the buffet while I opted for a steak from the menu. And let me just tell you what, that steak was cooked to perfection! And it was a very nice portion. The hubby enjoyed his buffet, he got to sample a lot of different food items.
Are drinks were also very good and our server was very courteous and polite.“

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. We ate there on the second night of our stay and no one in the family was disappointed. I had the grilled salmon salad special and coming from a tough critic, it was DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the "vibe" was just the same as we remembered. We can't wait to visit again.“

“The sportsbar portion of Captain George's restaurant. Full menu available, including the seafood buffet. TV'S all around, even in the booths. Hard not to find the game or event you're looking for. It's loud, but that's because folks are eating, drinking, and having a good time. They do have a bar food menu that's pretty good, and always drink specials. Off season it's usually full of locals there to hang out and catch the game.“

“We visited Lucky 12 last week. The food was great! I had fried shrimp and oysters and they were flavorful and cooked, just right. Staff was nice and attentive. We’ve been there before and will definitely return!“
