Yummy pub food, tons of character. Part of our family beach trip memories...still have some Howard's Frisbees somewhere!
It's a bar, and restaurant, IN Ocracoke, NC! Shrimp and crab dip with pita chips? Phenomenal! Conch critters? Dang near thought I was back at the Blue Cafe on Islamorada in the Keys!
Great pub glad that it is here! Cool staff for sure.

Located near the ferry, Howard's Pub offers decent seafood, including conch fritters, raw oysters, and blackened fish of the day, but at a higher price point. The restaurant has a fun beach vibe, reminiscent of Florida tourist spots, with decorations like signs, license plates, and stickers. Exceptional service from the waitstaff and bartender, particularly Brandon, who is a phenomenal bartender and shares local history while serving delicious cocktails. Must-try dishes include oysters Rockefeller, shrimp and crab dip, crab cakes, and the catch of the day. The restaurant provides a wonderful experience with prompt service and a good selection of food. Families enjoy dining on the screened-in porch and kids love the ring hook and foosball while waiting for food. Howard's Pub also offers a variety of tee shirts, hats, and cups.
