Fabulous menu. Started with figs abs prosciutto, seared scallops with cilantro lime butter followed. The jasmine rice and vegetables were perfect. Key lime pie was the perfect final touch. All enjoyed from an open air table served by Julius. Awesome evening on Ocracoke Island. Thanks
Our first visit to this restaurant after years of coming to the island. Great food, nice selection, great service.
Ate dinner there last night, we arrived around 7:45 and crowd had thinned out so no wait for seating. Wife and i ordered 3 appetizers (oyster rock, crab pimento, and cobia bites), and i got the grilled sheepshead over rice with some type of Thai light sauce, it was sooooo good! Everything was absolutely delicious, very laid back casual dress. Definitely recommend.

The pecan encrusted Drum and bacon wrapped scallops are excellent, and the desserts, particularly the sticky toffee pudding and the layered coconut cake, are sinful and delicious. The atmosphere is nice and friendly, and many guests find that Back Porch never disappoints.
