“Great beers, great location, upstairs deck is perfect to watch a sunset from while sipping beers that are hitting the mark. We tried three, from the Kolsch to the Dark Lager to the Rye Ale. 5 stars. If you love Ocracoke Island and love great beer, you need to visit.“
“We found this gem when we vacationed to Ocracoke one June 6th, 2021. It's tucked along a side street near the castle hotel. The food takes some time, but it is worth it! The burrito I got was flavorful and amazing. The rice and beans were also very good, and the salsa is homemade and bursting with flavor. There are tables near the truck but we ate it on the waterfront.“
“Honestly, some of the best food in Ocracoke. From Cobia to Voodoo Shrimp....to giant burgers and pork sliders. Don't get me started on how good the house-made chips are! You can't miss this spot for at least two meals while you are on the island.“
“Good service, cool location. Ice cream was ok, not the best I've ever had. Prices are reasonable. Many folks will get ice cream here and go watch the sunset on the pier(s). Watch for the salt marsh mosquitoes, though! They are relentless. The traffic can be very busy here and we watched a near-accident between a big truck backing out and a golf cart in the parking lot. Be careful.“
“The food was really good and liked the vibe of the restaurant and staff. It's a little pricey for breakfast, but worth it for a splurge. I had meatlovers grits (spin off of shrimp and grits) and spouse had country fried steak made with ribeye (not cubed steak). He said it was very good.“
“I have no clue where to begin. You walk up to the stand and you are smacked in the face by the amazing smells of steak shrimp and salsa. You look around and see happy family’s and dogs sharing meals together. (Water bowls are left for the dogs) once you go to order the employees there are so sweet and fast. I have met the owner multiple times and he is the nicest man I have ever met in my life. As you wait for your food you can see the birds hoping around or go to the gift shop they have. (I have multiple shirts and pins). Once your food is done you can either eat it on their picnic tables immediately or take it home. Either way it is fresh and delicious. Not lying when I say it’s the best food I have ever had.“
