“Emme and I used Kats Deli to cater our wedding reception on the Mrs Hatteras boat (also amazing). They did a great job making the food easy to eat on the boat, and it was fantastic even after having to wait a bit due to some timing complications. We got a mix of a lot of sandwiches, but I will say for our group The Charlie was the group favorite, though the Jurassic pork was close behind for me. We plan to make Hatteras a regular trip at this point and I can guarantee we will be stopping by Kats when we get the chance again.“

“All of us enjoyed our lunches. My son raced about his Buffalo Chicken Wrap because it was flavorful, and that each and every bite had all the ingredients because they were mixed together before going into the wrap. My wife enjoyed the Fried Chicken Sammie. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the addition of bacon added a layer of smokiness to the sandwich. I ordered the Wrecked Cuban Burger. The meatiness of the burger, crunchy pickle, spicy mustard sauce, thinly sliced turkey breast and smoky pulled pork in a brioche bun made this a fantastic lunch. Delicious food and friendly service. Also, the best part is that food is made to order so you know your meal will be hot and fresh when you get it.Parking: There is parking in the strip mall near the Snack Shack.“

“Ok... I'm a snob. I'll admit it. I'm PAINFULLY picky about my coffee (which is why I generally just do it myself) and the bar was low. Mostly because of severe disappointment each time I order something... anywhere. Not here. Not ever. This was a stop on our first morning on the island and we were there nearly every day they were open after. Perfectly steamed milk, perfectly balanced flavor. (At least when who I'm assuming to be the or one of the shop owners is making the drink.) There's love in that cup. There's a sense of pride in the craft and my God did it not come through. A lavender latte is a hard thing to balance but it worked, flawlessly. I'd drive an hour south just to get a cup. It's that good. The outside seating is a welcome and refreshing plus. Sitting in a rocking chair with one of your favorite friends, sipping on a cup of perfection is the absolute best start to a day and I'm so glad I got to experience it here.“

“Amazing food for any occasion. A foodies dream spot. Big delicious portions. We stayed at the inn for the weekend, ate and drank like royalty. Everything we had was superb. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay amazing. Can’t wait to eat there again.“

“Really good food and good service. The restaurant is small but packs a ton of flavor. We enjoyed our appetizer nachos. They were unique and very tasty. I loved my pizza. It was so good. It had Pesto sauce and bacon, sausage and pulled pork. My whole family enjoyed their meals and we will definitely return.“

“The best food on Hatteras Island. The seafood was perfectly prepared and the best hushpuppies ever. They have perfected handling of short staffing. Ordering at the register allows the lone server the ability to get food out as fast as it's prepared. The cashier/bartender was wearing many hats and helping with drink refills. I highly recommend, it is worth any wait.“
