“Restaurant shout out! Casa San Carlo Morehead City wow!! What an amazing experience!! From the moment we walked in until we walked out! Our serve was so kind and helpful with suggestions (which we took and everything was beyond delicious) We started with the fresh mozzarella lightly breaded and fried with a marinara sauce, that was to die for, with fresh grated Parmesan and what looked like julienne marinated tomatoes. My husband got a lobster ravioli in a pink sauce and I got the tortellini with mushrooms, prosciutto, and peas in a creaming white sauce. Everything was an explosion of flavor. The chef came out many time to check on us to make sure we were enjoying everything. I loved the genuine connections and hearing all the talk in the kitchen. Everyone who came in after us, I could hear all the employees greeting them as if they knew them like family. This restaurant feels like coming into a family dinner and delicious food. I wish we had come here earlier. Before we left they gave us a card inside an envelope that says “no peeking”! It could be a gift card towards our next meal, a free dessert, appetizer, or bottle of wine. It says we can use it in the month of April. We will be coming back to see what is our surprise! Thank you to the team at Casa San Carlos! You gave this couple a fabulous experience! It was a long overdue date night for parents of newborn twins!”

“Some items are great, others aren't. I think they have really good smoked wings, tacos, and the fig prosciutto toast.
I was suggested by whoever sat us to get the devilled eggs. I have a feeling she was from up North because those were not any devilled eggs anyone I know would be making around here. Not because of the pickled onion or the bacon but the fact that the yolk mixture itself had zero flavor. I don't think they put anything in them but mayonnaise, I didn't even taste salt. I don't recommend those. Their house made PLM sauce is really good. The only thing I could label in it was mustard. I like the atmosphere.”

“The Best Flan In All The Land.

I am always on the hunt for a good flan. For years, I’ve ordered it wherever I can. I can say with all confidence that Costa Bonita’s is PERFECT! Good portion size, lots of yummy caramel sauce, and perfectly baked. The custard texture is just like it should be with just enough baking to the edges.

“Their NY style pizzas are a great size and generous amount of toppings. We had a large Pepperoni & Italian Sausage. The crust was a great texture and had a good ratio balance of sauce to cheese and toppings.”

“Shut the front door! Now thats a cupcake. I would have taken a picture of the cupcakes but its just an empty box now. We had 6 flavors and all were fantastic. The icing is just amazing. The flavor stays with you, its delicious well after eating one and washing it down with some ice cold milk. I drove by a bunch of times not knowing, or making a remark of hrm happycakes. That was a mistake. Don't be like me go get your happycakes, and make your day happier.”

“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!”

The store vibe is welcoming, quaint and so perfectly paired with a waterfront downtown area. You can sit inside to eat or sit outside on their Picnic tables to enjoy the water views! “Dank Burrito is literally one of the best things I’ve discovered since moving to North Carolina! The flavors are incredible and there’s always something different to try, so it never gets old. I love that you can get everything as tacos or in a bowl depending on what you’re in the mood for.

The prices are great, the queso is the best I’ve ever had, and the whole place just has a fun vibe. Even the building itself is cool and adds to the experience.

“My husband and I decided to check this place out for breakfast during our visit in Morehead City. So glad we did!! . The breakfast was delicious! Prices were very reasonable. It was fairly busy and wait staff kept the place hopping!!. Busboy was on top of every vacant table and immediately cleaned it. Upon people entering the restaurant, there was always someone looking to provide seating. While we were there a party of eleven came in and within 10 min they were accommodated. Will definitely be back!!”
