Filet and Fin is one of the best restaurants in Morehead, everything we ordered was excellent and the service is great!! Can’t say enough good about it. A must!!!!!
Six of us enjoyed an awesome meal tonight. The cocktails, grouper fish dip, crab cakes, beef tips and shrimp, catch of the day were all delicious. We will be back!!! Our waitress, Nichole, did a great job. Great food and atmosphere. Check it out when you get to Morehead City.

Filet 'n' Fin is a very nice restaurant for a special night out, and a hidden gem in Morehead City. The atmosphere is great, and the menu is varied enough to suit any taste. Prices are average for a fine restaurant, though some find it on the expensive side, with a meal costing over $100 per person. The food and service are excellent, outstanding, and top-notch. Steaks, like the 14 ounce NY Strip, filet, and ribeye, are cooked perfectly with excellent flavor and tenderness. The Parmesan grouper, blackened grouper, and pasta are also very good. Sides like truffle fries and green beans are generous. Appetizers like the Caprese salad and Oysters Rockefeller are delicious. The service is friendly, attentive, and incredibly personable. The waiter knows the menu in and out, and the hostess is kind and welcoming. This is not a place for kids, but a great choice for a special event or a wonderful meal. It is an all-around great experience, and many plan to return again.
