“I recently worked on Harkers Island for a week. The Seaside had the BEST fried shrimp and hushpuppies of all the places I tried in the area. Their fries were also really good. Yes, the service is not fast, but, for the most part, the service was friendly. A hidden gem indeed!”

“Wow! What an incredible dining experience. Kim, our gracious innkeeper, at the Inn on Turner, assisted us with our reservation at Blue Moon Bistro. Celebrating our anniversary, my husband and I were looking for a special dining experience. Blue Moon Bistro exceeded all expectations. The service was excellent, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table in a quiet corner. Our server, Lara, was amazing, giving us recommendations and allowing us to take our time, and enjoy our evening. We feasted on the Cassoulet and Pork Osso Bucco - there are no pictures, as we were too busy enjoying our meals. For dessert they treated us to a delicious crème brulee, made to perfection. Will we return? Without a doubt. Would we recommend it? Absolutely, 100%.”

“This was by far one of my favorite dining experiences. I recommend making a reservation beforehand because of the size of the restaurant. Service was amazing! Very friendly host and hostess, and our server, PJ, was so nice, very knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great recommendations for food and beverages. I recommend the cheese plate and duck wings. The petite filet was cooked to perfection, and the desert sampler we ordered was so pretty I almost did not want to eat it! We will definitely be coming back here again!Parking: We parked over by the backstreet pub, there is a small parking lot across from the restaurant but I was not sure if it was reserved for another business nearby. Not a very far walk from any of the paid parking spaces nearby.”

“This place has never disappointed. We have now been multiple times, and ordered in on numerous occasions. The food is the best Mexican food we have had. From California to Carolina this place is number one!! Our most recent waitress, Beatrice, was awesome. Her menu suggestions were great, and she was very attentive. I know they have many locations, but this one just feels right. If you live nearby, get there immediately.”

“Historic Grounds is my absolute favorite coffee shop! The atmosphere is so inviting & so are all of the baristas! The coffee is amazing every single time, my go to is the cold brew with any of their delicious flavors topped with cold foam! You can’t go wrong with any of their seasonal drink specials & make sure to grab a fresh baked goodie too!”

“Are you looking for a fusion of Biergarten + Dive bar? Well this is the best spot for that this side of the Mississippi. Awesome people in an awesome bar. Everyone we so welcoming, we had a big group and just jumped right in! I can tell a place like this really gets going with the right people. Oooo I almost forgot. Free soup Fridays at 5!”

“I hate to even write a review about this place. Because it truly is a honey hole. Best restaurant I’ve ever been too. And I’ve been to thousands. We go to a new place almost every weekend.I hate to write this review because I don’t want to expose blue Herron for the dining experience that it really is - but it is fine because it is a 5 star dining experience. If you don’t prefer the beef medallions you are missing out. If anyone in your party is thinking about ordering it - do it. You will not get anything less than Amazing here.This is my 5th time here and felt compelled to write this reviews because it is phenomenal and you are missing out if you don’t try it. But I ask that you please don’t share with all of your friends because if word gets out you WILL NOT be able to eat here without a reservation months/ years in advance. This is a Michelin star caliber restaurant.”

“Omg I can't say enough about this place it's so welcoming! The beers are crazy good and some I've never even tried! It's small and get this an old what I call factory whistle goes off at around 5ish it's crazy but if you go in ask and they'll explain it to you! The feeing you get it so back in the days of good neighbors and local friends/family. Popcorn machine which is delicious popcorn and craft beer umm yeah! It's small inside but there's also seating outside as well. I love this place! If you are driving through I highly recommend a stop !”

“City Kitchen isn't on the main strip of Beaufort but tucked onto the second floor of the Marina. We were seated outside and had a gorgeous view of the water at sunset. Our waitress Dana was incredibly friendly. The vegetarian Korean bowl and the famous toffee dessert were a hit. We would come back again!”

“This was my second time coming to Beaufort and I am here on the off season for my bday weekend and I am so glad I stopped in to Moonrakers bc our bartender ANGEL was amazing- very Personable and aware of what we drank from ordering our first drink! Keep her around bc you don’t find many Bartenders as sweet as her and she even chit chatted wth us! Thanks for a good night and I’m a happy patron thank you Angel for being our bartender…..until we see you again!! XO”

“This is a great local bar full of genuinely friendly folks. Tammy is amazing. Carol, the owner, is super awesome. It is a great place to shoot pool, play darts, and have a good time. No judgement.”

“BEST ICE CREAM AROUND. Customer service was excellent! My friend and I really enjoyed the ice cream. They have a variety of flavors. Ended up getting their reese’s and chocolate. Definitely recommend!”

“We had an amazing dinner here! The menu is robust with many options to choose from. The service was quick and attentive. The seafood bisque is a must-have--super creamy with tons of lump seafood in it. Other tables had salads that looked huge and delicious, I'd like to try one next time! As my husband said, "this is the best food we've had at a restaurant down here!"”

“I eat here from time to time. I'd love to eat here more but it is cash only and I rarely carry cash. The food has always been good as well as the service. Seafood is a little pricey especially to eat here weekly but it is fresh so there is that. Definitely recommend.”

“Got take out pizza and salad. Salads were quite good, but the pizza was PERFECT (from a pizza snob that has tried them all!). We had the Margherita and the sausage with peppers. Both were really good - crust was perfect - thin wood fired oven baked perfectly. Toppings were well proportioned and flavorful.”

“We loved Blackbeard! The food was delicious. The Oysters Rockefeller and Parmesan crusted oysters appetizers were great for sharing and very tasty. The fried shrimp and scallops were a nice size, not overly breaded, crispy, and delicious. The ahi tuna was absolutely incredible. If it is on special, I recommend ordering it. The seafood bisque is creamy, rich, and flavorful. Not pictured is the ribeye. It was seasoned, cooked, and seared perfect. A special shout out to Carol, our waitress for the fantastic service. She was very friendly offering great suggestions with the menu, our food was served hot, and our drinks were never empty.”

“1st time here. When you walk in you are greeted like part of the family. I have special dietary needs and that was no issue with preparing my order. The food was great, the wait staff was excellent.. We had the best experience. The cheesy French bread with homemade ranch was amazing.Dietary restrictions: they can accommodate a low salt dietary restriction”

“Part wine bar, part coffee shop. Popped into Cru on a Thursday afternoon while visiting Beaufort for a conference, and was pleasantly surprised by their wine selection. Fair priced bottles and most of their selection seems to be for folks that know what they're looking for - lots of Old World wines and great vintages. I didn't stay for a flight of wine (it was like 11am and didn't want to be judged!), but the flight prices were a great deal! Pick four wines, and you received a pour of each for half price. Will definitely return when I'm back in the evening, this place also has a full bar and looks like they pull in a cool crowd in the evenings.”

“I love the food at Ribeyes. The waitresses are great. The chef is superb. The atmosphere is good. I liked the food so much that I wanted to meet the chef and thank him personally. He will come to our table when we eat there and check to make sure everything is okay. New to Ribeyes and this means a lot to me and my family. I always want to give praise when praise is deserved. Good job, Ribeyes!”
