We love Clawson’s. Food is consistent and love to sit in the bar area. Kayla is the opitomy of outstanding service and Southern Hospitality!! We are locals and visit weekly!! Never had a bad meal and we LOVE the people!! The only … diverse menu in Beaufort!!
Our group met in the private room, which was spacious and beautiful. We were all able to hear each other (important in a writer's group), and our server did an amazing job of handling food, drink, and bills for about 20 people. Food was great (as were cocktails), and we plan to return.
I always order crab cakes which are delicious. Last night, they came with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. I honestly could’ve eaten an entire plate of just the veggies. Best I’ve ever had!! The server we had was wonderful, but she had several tables at once. She forgot to put in our appetizer order, but once we pointed it out, the manager graciously offered free dessert. I realize that they were extremely busy, and it definitely won’t be our last time eating there....read full review
