What a WONDERFUL experience!!! My sister in law and I decided Mexican food was a good idea for dinner - turns out it was the best decision we made all weekend. It was a chilly winter evening and I’m assuming most locals were staying in for the night. We were greeted quickly and warmly. It was late, we were hungry, and the place was open. We were pleasantly surprised as the food was very good. The burrito I got was as good as Chubby Tacos in Raleigh which is high praise. I prefer to get seafood at the beach, but it was late evening in January so I got the shrimp. I would go again.
What a nice surprise! Only restaurant around open past 9p so we had low expectations but wow did this impress! Service was the best we've had in a long time. Huge delicious drinks. Food quick to come out, salsa was fantastic. Great portion sizes. Would definitely come back! Try the crab quesadilla... you'll be pleasantly surprised!
