If you want to buy drugs this is the place to go. Owner gets his staff hooked then they make deals for him. After he gets them hooked then he fires them.
Were good foodA good evening outSad that not a chance of repeat.
We had our wedding dinner here. Awesome service, great food and drinks.
One of the best dining experiences we had this trip. The food was excellent and fairly priced. The atmosphere is peaceful and views are nice though it's not "open air". Biggest complaint would be lack of beer options and overall drink list. If you like wine they got a list but otherwise you better know what you want.
Amazing shrimp and grits. Best I've ever had. Very large portions, husband and I both brought home leftovers enough for 2+ meals. Great, quick service. Will definitely eat here again!
The quality of the fish was excellent. Served nicely with tastey sides. We were told to go there and we were not let down.
Very good food. Excellent service.
Best shrimp and grits ever. Steak and lobster was perfect.
Better than what you would find in Charleston or Savannah. Be prepared to share! More shrimp than you can eat. The sauce....OMG.
The Seafood bisque was excellent. The shrimp and grits should be renamed shrimp, bacon and grits. This was also excellent with a wonderful cream sauce. Be forewarned the portions are huge and could easily be split by two persons. Will definitely go back when we have the chance.

Hope its here next year .The view of the waterway is beautiful.Had the sea biscuts ;theport holes (hushpuppy rings.A steak ;the shrimp stand; my daughter had the fried clam strips and they were awesome. While dining we were amused by a bird diving for fish from the outside railing. It was the end of my two visit and I wish I could have stayed; because there were some other things I would have liked to try. We found out about this Gem ; the last day.
This place was recommended by our bar tender from the Hilton. Great place over looking the sound and everything is made to order-fresh. Our server Sheri was great and made great suggestions for our dinner. Seafood was fresh and the drink specials were amazing!
As another reviewer mentioned, there’s a sign at the front of the restaurant about wearing masks. None of the staff members were wearing masks. Hostess took us to a table right in between other diners - her reasoning was one of the servers had a hurt ankle. We did get another table, but were met with some attitude. The server we had was very nice. Food is a bit pricey.
Well, a wear face mask sign at the door, no emlloyees wearing a face mask. I felt a a very bad attitude from the guy at the bar , after I let the host know that I did not want to sit where she was saying. It too close to another table and its my right to say I'm not comfortable with that. My husband and I said ok lets go tot he bar, but we felt the bad attitude as I said. So we left! It felt like discrimination...
Our first night in Emerald Isle and we stopped in at Port of Call. They had the best hush puppies and I filled up on them and was unable to eat the huge meal that followed. I had the shrimp and grits which was heavy, but good. The portion was huge! Husband had broiled scallops which were very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
