Prime 1079 Restaurant

I ordered room service from this restaurant at the Doubletree by Hilton at Atlantic Beach and i ordered the Mahi Mahi and it came on a bed of grilled corn kernals and undercooked small green lima beans with a nasty looking piece of wilted spinach, 6 cherry tomatos that were lightly grilled, some kind of creme sauce. The fish was not huge but it was good and the blackened seasoning was good and had just the right heat to it. The tartar sauce was good, but the remoulade sauce kind of bland and tasted a little like the tartar sauce. Remoulade is supposed to have some spice to it. Seems like i ordered something else but it was forgetful. No alcohol, drinks, or dessert but it was about 60.00 i think that includes a 22% gratuity that is required and a room service charge plus i tipped another 15.00 before i even tried the food. Aside for the fish the rest was not very good especially for the price. Seems like i tried their slaw but i like grated slaw not shredded like everyone seems to serve
...IMO it is never good, little vinegar, practically no sugar, mostly just mayonaise. It was kind of like smearing mayo on a piece of cabbage. They could have done much better. I wouldn't have minded the price because i pay 38.00 a pound for Mahi Mahi at the farmers market in my home town!

Food was great BUT service not so much. We waited 20 minutes for a sweet tea that never came. The bartender Kat came over and took charge since she noticed we were left hanging by our waitress. The original waitress finally came back apologizing over getting caught up and never offered anything else such as taking our order or checking on us. We never seen her again until we were leaving and she is sitting at entrance playing on her phone. Kat did a good job considering hardly no one would help her and she had a bar room full! We will not be coming back due to the service.

Don’t waste your money at this place, restaurant was 3/4 empty with most tables open, hostess said a 20-30 minute wait and suggested I get my order to go. Waited and the food was awful, do not recommend.

No longer open other than pricey breakfaset You can order Molly's garbage food in the lounge but don't bother.. that is garbage beach food

Not going to lie. We went out of convenience. The restaurant is in the hotel we’re staying in. The food was good but not for the price we paid. It is very overpriced. It was dead in there. Only one other couple was in there with us. The one positive thing, our waitress was great.

Flounder and shrimp basket was good but it was very expensive for what it was. The staff wasn’t exactly very friendly either. We ate there because the weather was bad and we were staying at the Doubletree.

Great wings.

Update: breakfast was mediocre. Potatoes were really cold. The breakfast sandwich needs a better bread.

Enjoyed an excellent breakfast, we ordered off the menu vs the buffet, it was 2 good plates, well presented and prices were reasonable compared to other hotel restaurants I’ve been too.

$14 for a bubba burger and cold burnt fries.. I sent the fries back and got hot burnt fries.

All the wait staff were very polite and friendly. The fish tacos were very good. We ate them 2 different nights during our stay.

Tip: Just get the burger. It's the only good thing there.The staff here are great, I loved them. But the food is just awful and it shows that it isn't necessarily their fault, its the fault of their ingredients and their menu, which they may not have any control over. Breakfast buffet was not good. Dry everything. Pricey for what you get. I think they need to sit down and reassess the menu to make it easier on the staff and simplify their ingredients. Perhaps running the buffet is too much for the small staff to handle, even in the off-season. Lunch, Dinner options are terrible aside from the burger.

Was there for Thanksgiving dinner and all the food was prepared exceptionally. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Selection was ample and diverse.

Went for the Thanksgiving buffet they had at lunch time and it was great! Wide variety of good and it was all well prepared and tasty. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive.
