Was told to come here by friends. I was very excited to try it. Yes I get it, it's a beach shack selling fried seafood. But I just wasn't wowed by the buffalo shrimp I had. It needed more of a kick. Also the fried pickles were just okay. I had coleslaw as a side and that was good. The outside seating area looked like it needed a good do over. And it needed some serious fire ant deterrent. Nothing like getting bit while eating and then you see the ants working up your chair. I will say the service was very quick. Didn't wait long. But I'd rather wait long for great food than food that is mediocre if that.

We love the Shark Shack so much! It's such a treat when we get to visit. The food is delicious, best grouper bites in town! My favorite is the seafood wrap and I request my grouper and shrimp grilled. I've tried to replicate the sauces many times as they are to die for, but ended up buying the bottles from SS instead because there is no replicating. Our kids love to be able to run around free and play with the provided toys. It feels like you're on a vacay every day at Shark Shack.

We love shark shack! Perfect for families with littles.
Shark Shack is always a winner! We make it a point to stop here every year when we come to Atlantic Beach. We usually order several baskets and split them as a family. Our favorites include the fish bites, shrimp, and calamari. The outdoor space is family-friendly, with a few picnic tables and even a bean bag toss game. Our 9-month-old son loved the fish bites, and our 4- and 6-year-old daughters enjoyed the food too. Just be sure to check their hours before you go, especially if you’re visiting in the off season. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area!

Absolute best place to eat in AB. When I’m not there I miss it, when I’m on the way it’s all I think about, & when I get there it’s dinner the very first night. It’s an outdoor dining location so if you have a toddler or infant that has to be in a strapped seat, maybe go for takeout or bring a chair, but it is a family friendly establishment with safe foods for young ones as well!

Food was absolutely phenomenal! I got the fish sandwich it was flavorful, big, soft and flaky! The double burger was amazing!! Juicy and delicious in all the right ways!!! And the sauces!!!!! Are a must!!! The cilantro lime and dill lemon are chefs kiss!!! Go try this place if you haven’t yet!!!!

This place hands down had the best fish tacos in the area. It was such a chill spot and an absolutely gem of a spot if you have kiddos. The Buffalo shrimp were to die for and no joke … the ranch really was life changing! Thanks for serving such amazing food with a family friendly atmosphere.
