Great beach bar with affordable drinks and excellent service! Be sure to bring your ID—and even your pup can hang out with you until 9 PM. The only drawback is that there didn’t seem to be any air conditioning, so I can imagine it gets pretty warm in the summer. Still, the atmosphere was awesome, and I’ll definitely be back!
We had a blast at the Tackle Box this past weekend. We were celebrating my 50th with my college besties. We did not know it was cash only and the bartender (good looking, also a fireman) came running to us and said he would give us cash if we venmo'd him. Best decision we ever made that night. The live music, bartenders and regulars made us feel like we were family!

My wife and I visited Atlantic Beach the day after our wedding and came to this tavern. This might sound dramatic, but before this day I wasn’t a beer drinker. After this day, I defected. They had the best beers on tap. There was a mango draft beer that was probably the best I’ve ever had.
