My wife and I have ordered from this location twice in the last couple of years. Unfortunately, the food was horrible; it tasted burnt and was inedible. I would not recommend spending your money here.

I was very unhappy with my take out order that I picked up this evening. I ordered Moo Shoo.Pork. The pancakes were moldy. I did not trust the rest of my order. I threw everything away. Very disappointed!!!

This was one of the only places open later in the day on the 4th of July! There was a pretty decent amount of people so we expected it to be pretty good. Family of 4 that ordered differently; seasame chicken with noodles, lobster fried rice, chicken fried rice, and chicken wings. The noodles were terrible. But they also had the sauce from the chicken on them. My husband enjoyed the chicken, but we threw the noodles away. The fried rice was okay, but paying more for lobster fried rice and receiving ONE piece of lobster that was the size of a large shrimp - which was not good at all - don’t waste your up charge. The only thing I would recommend was the chicken wings. They were good.
No tap water, warm bottled water, setup looked like buffet, but was empty with poorly lit room.

This is your typical small town Chinese-American fare and it’s great for what it is. Fried rice has small pieces of pork and egg rolls are above average for this type of place. 99 health dept score on the wall. This is the Chinese food you remember from your hungover college days. The combination dinner portion is pretty large for one person.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Absolutely awful. Dumpling were not edible, general Tsos was terrible, orange chicken awful, the eggs rolls had grease pouring out, pork lo mein awful, chicken wings and fries terrible, beef and broccoli again terrible. Waste of $70. Never again. I never complain and hate to even make this review but just wanted to warns others if you like wasting your money then go ahead and eat at china town.

Got takeout here and were skeptical because of the negative reviews but were pleasantly surprised by the food quality and service. Only complaint is the portion size seemed small compared to others we’ve had but overall not bad. The Lo Mein was especially good.
Every year, my family comes to Hatteras Island to vacation and we decided to order takeout from this restaurant. We ordered once over the phone, and once inside; both times it was difficult to place an order. The owner is not very friendly and very hateful. The restaurant is not very clean and no longer has a buffet option. The food is decent, but not worth the price. Most online menus have the incorrect pricing as well.
Sesame chicken was no bueno...rice had a strange taste. 1 and done.

The reason why I'm giving this place 1 star is to save people the trouble of eating here and because I saw other bad reviews with 1 star so why not and besides if this place is this bad why not close it down no matter if it's 500 miles to the next chinese
