Mmmmm ice cream. I hit up this spot on the way down to Hatteras lighthouse this summer and it was all I would hoped it would be. Quick service and huge scoops with a variety of flavors by Hershey's. It's exactly what you expect for a beach ice cream shop with picnic tables to sit at if you are planning on staying, otherwise, take that delicious cone to go and remember to come back the next time you are in town.

Yummy ice cream! Prices were reasonable and the service was good. Long line though and it took a while to get my ice cream. So keep in mind if you want late night ice cream. I would come back again for their delicious banana split!

Came to get ice cream just about every evening we were in Avon. It is SO GOOD! The young people that work there- were friendly, speedy and clean. If you see a long line- it’s worth it and it actually goes rather quick. ??

Great ice cream choices. The kiddie(single scoop) is enough for most. The service is good and fast. The line goes quick and the picnic tables provide a nice spot to enjoy your ice cream with family and friends. Even a busy night in Avon doesn't mean too long of a wait at this ice cream shop.

HUGE selection of Hershey’s ice cream flavors. This place gets really busy in the evenings. The inside has cute Disney themed pictures and decor. Outside has picnic tables and benches to sit at. Prices are fair and the menu is huge, lots of options and big sundaes.

This is a fine place in Avon for ice cream. As others have noted the service is a little slow. This is an ice cream joint that offers Hershey ice cream. I would prefer if it was home made but it is not. The prices are reasonable though and it is the only real ice cream place in Avon. I do not consider Dairy Queen to be real ice cream. They do give you a lot of product per serving which is good. The bottom line is if you like ice real and are in the outer banks this place is quite serviceable.

Waited almost an hour for ice cream, it was freezer burnt. They also lost a part of our order and were in no hurry to make it once they were notified. Never coming back.

My kids all have severe allergies: egg, dairy, wheat, peanut, tree nut etc. Lots of dairy free options for my youngest. They got new containers of ice cream without being asked. Used a clean scoop. They were very patient as my kids decided. 10/10 would recommend especially for allergies!
