This one has better hot coffee than the one in Nags Head! They did a great job with the donuts. Very yummy. We were lucky and they had a sale on shirts and visors this weekend!

We were greeted by a friendly employee. My wife ordered the Bacon, Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwich, and felt that the yellow cake donut was far too sweet. Unfortunately the savory fillings did not counteract the sweetness of the donut. My son enjoyed the Oreo Cake Donuts, but felt that there was a bit too much powdered sugar, and made it a messy experience. The Pins Colada donut was delicious because the tart lemon icing with the shredded coconut made it taste like something tropical. My second donut was Bacon In The Sun. The maple coating and the smoky and crispy bacon were the best of all combinations, and I enjoyed each and every bite. Luckily the toppings I had were savory enough to counteract the sweetness of the yellow cake donut. We were not fans of the warm donuts because it made the eating experience very messy.

This was my first time having a Duck Donut and while I found them to be quite good (especially when eating one before I got out of the store -- so hot and fresh), I have had better. I am a donut purist where simple glazing is the best in my book. That's why I like Krispy Kreme. And where I'm from, I'd take Krispy Kreme, Daylight Donuts or Donut Joe's over Duck's. Every flavor combination starts out with a base vanilla donut and specific flavors are created by dips and drizzles. Now, don't be confused, if you're in or around Avon, you must try Duck Donuts - the Crumbl Cookie of the donut world. Plus, they make one heck of a caramel macchiato - even better than Starbucks.

Called up 2 mins before they closed and they assorted me my own personal box before I left town! Unreal service and hospitality. Thanks so much!! Bacon or Oreo crumble are top notch

Every time we go to OBX, we must go to Duck Donuts. This time was no different. The place smelled amazing when you first walked in and was extremely clean. As soon as we walked in, the staff greeted us. They were very helpful and friendly. We were able to order, watch our donuts being assembled and out the door in no time. The donuts tasted amazing! We definitely recommend to anyone looking for yummy breakfast treat.

Stopped by for something to drink after leaving the beach. They have good sweet tea. It's easy to get in and out.
