We had an amazing dining experience at Katch 55 Seafood Grill! I ordered the Blackened Tuna, and it was simply perfect—cooked to perfection with incredible seasoning. Our waiter was outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure all our requests were met.

To top it off, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the staff surprised us with a beautiful celebration, making the day truly special. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough for anyone looking for a fantastic meal and exceptional service. We will definitely be returning!

One of the best seafood meals we ever had. We had broiled flounder and fries. Flounder was fresh and cooked just right.

But the service was the highlight of the meal. Our server, Maria, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure we had a great meal, especially after my wife didn't like the entree that she had ordered. Maria and the kitchen staff didn't give us any trouble, took the dish back and my wife ordered another entree that she enjoyed very much.

The prices were also reasonable and the portions were generous.

We walked in and only one other couple was sitting. We were a nervous about trying this place but had really great burgers. Maria was the right amount of patient and attentive while we figured out what we wanted, and if we wanted to order food. We had hush puppies to start, which I thought were better and had more flavor than some other old school places further north.

We came in a hour before closing, got seated and looked at the menu. We noticed the menu was pretty small with options it's not that big of a deal, but what is was the fact that they give you only one option of cheese on your burgers, no option for you to pick your dressing for salad. The 37$ NY strip had gravy on it when it was supposed to be a red wine sauce, and if it wasn't gravy it could, would, and did fool me. On top of all of this our waiter, in my opinion, was just nice enough not to seem flat out rude. Also,if you are a parent, on the menu I saw i didn't see anything saying for kids. Maybe it's on a different menu, but still worth a mention.

We spent a week in the OBX & my husband loves all the fresh seafood. The food at this restaurant was subpar. Don't get me wrong, it was ok but no better than we could 6 hours inland where we live at Mayflower. $30 for 12 steamed oysters that were so small they wouldn't amount to a half cup total & crab cakes coated in what seamed like cornmeal. Way over priced. We had dinner out each night during our vacation & Ketch 55 was the only one that disappointed. Service was great but for a bill over $100 for 2 ppl I expect a lil more from the seafood in a coastal town.

Fantastic! My wife and I had the Asian Tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes. Others at our table tried the crab legs, crab cakes, New England clam chowder, steak (which was perfectly cooked) wings and Speckled Trout. Everyone loved their meals. Desert was homemade treats like flan and apple cobbler! Wonderful in every way!!!

Waited 45 minutes to get in, then another 15 for waitress to come over initially. Food was ok but not fairly priced. Key lime pie was very disappointing, cream cheese and lime juice on graham cracker crust.
