Kim made a red velvet cake and decorated it with a beach look. It was so beautiful that we didn’t want to cut! 0f course we did and it tasted as fabulous as it looked. She was great communicating with me when I requested it weeks in advance and the day it was ready, even sending me a video of her masterpiece.

I had such a great experience with KM Creations for my wedding cake! The cake was absolutely perfect (looks and taste wise) and the customer service was exceptional! I had a specific idea in mind and was doing this somewhat last minute, but Kim still brought my vision to light perfectly. If you are looking for a bakery in Hatteras, or in the Outer Banks period, KM Creations is the way to go!

I stopped in this morning while on vacation and purchased about $20 worth of a variety of different bakery items. My friend did the same so we spent a good amount of money there. Almost all of them were dry and definitely not fresh. I guess that’s what happens when a bakery doesn’t open until 9 AM…you get yesterday’s leftovers sold at fresh item prices. Save yourself the trip and go up the road to Uglie Mugs. Their items were fresh and they disclosed their day old stuff!
Stopped in for a sweet treat, I had no idea what I wanted to buy, but it smelled amazing inside. The sweet young lady behind the counter was very helpful & welcoming, she offered several suggestions to satisfy my sweet tooth!! I got the brownie sandwich & it was delicious, just what I wanted! It was so good in fact we went back the next day for more sweet treats, she remembered us from the day before & was very nice & treated us like she knew us for years!! I definitely recommend you stop in for a sweet treat. You will not be disappointed!

KM Creations in Avon NC (in same shopping center as Food Lion) is my new favorite bakery in Hatteras Island! Kim, the owner is one hard working super nice lady who makes the most delicious treats. Her key lime cookies are devine! I bought a bag of White Chocolate Oreo Bark (I think that’s what it was called..) and my family LOVED IT! Her Monkey Bread is amazing! Tried an outstanding Lemon cookie today! ????????I ordered a Coconut Cake from KM Creations for a friend of mine’s birthday. Kim knocked it out of the park! This cake was out of this world! She made exactly what we were wanting and exceeded our expectations!Do not hesitate. Go buy some goodies at KM Creations in Avon!! No matter what you get, it will no doubt be mouth watering yummy and will be treated by friendly people who work there! Thank you Kim!
