Delicious food and cold beers each visit. The salad dressing is made in house and every thing we've tried has been top notch. Definitely a high point of our visit to Avon each year. We just love it.

And now the review ...
I am in search of crabcakes. That's all, just crabcakes. With a local recommendation (thank you and shoutout to Brad from the Rodanthe Pier Place), this place was recommended for the crabcakes. So, onward south we went on Halloween day. Nice little place. Not crowded yet (around 3ish PM on a Friday). Ordered the seafood nachos and the Pei Mussels. Both were okay. Seafood nachos was massive! Enough for at least 3 - 4 people. Only drawback ... spiciness level. There was none. Lol. A nice spicy salsa would have complemented this well. But all they had was zero spice salsa and a bottle of Tabasco. We added both ... dont do what we did. Just have it without the additions or bring your own spicy salsa . The pei mussels were delicious period. Before we left, we did a take away order of crabcakes with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes.
Back at the room (remember, we aren't from these parts), I decided to take a quick taste. The mashed potatoes are ... well, mashed potatoes. No gravy, just mashed potatoes. Which is fine, it was still tasty. The roasted veggies ... just as tasty. BUT ... the crabcakes. Those crabcakes .... DELICIOUS!! That was what I was looking for. If anything I would go back just for those wonderful crabcakes!
If anything YOU should go and get yourself crabcakes! And if that's all you got ... it's all good! With that said ... go and get yourself some crabcakes here!!

We ate here 3 times in 3 days. It was excellent. Tuna appetizer is amazing. Tuna Griller, we had twice and the leftovers reheated for breakfast were equally fantastic. Mermaid Martinis were fabulous. Boiled shrimp š¤ were fantastic and the staff were super friendly!!

Horrible experience. I've never been to any restaurant and been told no so many times. No we can't do separate checks for your group of 6, no we can't take your order now I'm just getting drinks then I'll come back, no we can't warm up your cold seared tuna it's supposed to be like that.(cold) and to top it off a 20% tip already added in to our overpriced Horrible experience. We won't be back, nor will our families or friends....DONT GO!!!!!

This has been the best meal I've had here in the Outer Banks so far! I had fried oysters and sauteed zucchini. My husband had the Avon burger, which has egg, bacon, cheese, and onion on it, with fries, and we split onion rings. Not only were the oysters terrific, but I enjoyed the zucchini just as much. The onion rings were great as well, and my husband said the burger was delicious. The prices were also decent. Would definitely come here again.

We enjoyed our lunch here... with 4 kids under 8 we were looking for something super casual and low-key, and it fit the bill. Service was excellent - our waitress was extremely friendly and made insightful recommendations on menu items. Prices were reasonable and the food was a good step or two better than just edible, so it was a nice experience.

Iām very particular about restaurant food and often find it bland or disappointing. That wasnāt the case here. I ordered the tuna griller and my wife had the mahi tacosāboth were excellent. The fish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Our server, Taylor, was outstandingāattentive, friendly, and kind. This is now my go-to spot whenever Iām in Hatteras.
This was our 1st time at this restaurant and let me just say they have the sweetest servers/staff. Our breakfast was so amazing! Such a wonderful atmosphere. We were treated like family from the moment we walked in. Hard to come by nowadays.
My wife and I came here for dinner and everything was fantastic! Our server was great and the food was delicious. The hushpuppies were the best weāve ever had!

We had the shrimp and scallops plate, mahi mahi tacos and buffalo chicken sandwich and enjoyed them all. Additionally the gluten free hamburger was amazing. We loved the Mojitos too. The Jamaican chicken sandwich was dry but the bun was great. The nachos were not so great. NOTE: Isabella is an AMAZING server. When we first arrived, we had a guy as our server. He was unfriendly and even rude. We requested Isabella as we were familiar with her from Ketch 55. Thank goodness the manager allowed us to switch.
