First of all, Laura was an amazing waitress. Very attentive, great recommendations, amazing personality. The food was delicious and the plates were hearty including appetizers. We ordered the seafood nachos and scallop and mahi pasta. Both were so good and easily fed 2 people. Drinks were smooth and went down easy. Oceanas Bistro has my highest recommendation.

Not only was this spot open in March, it was phenomenal. Seared tuna starter, hush puppies, tacos, scallops, and an extra salty marg. If it wasn't already my birthday, I'd think it was due to the quality of this meal. Bravo! OBX isn't completely shut down during off season after all. 10/10. Bonus- we walked here from our rental!

I went to Iceanas because it was the only restaurant open in February low season. The reviews were excellent, and I was hungry. I expected fresh seafood to be at the ocean, so I ordered scallops, and they were good. I also ordered a spinach salad that was not good. The dressing was too sweet, it had too many pecans, and the spinach was wilty and flavorless. Plus, the bill was $50.In comparison, I ate at the Blue Moon, and what a difference! I ordered fish and chips, which was delicious, and a key lime pie for only $30 for superb service and a beautiful place with a large patio a few miles north.

I came and got a canjun chicken wrap and it was hands down the best wrap I’ve ever ate. I came back the next day and got the $2 tacos. I’d pay $10 per tacos with how good these taste. My server was awesome and never let me drink get low! I’ll definitely be back!
Let me just start with OMG! I ordered the Mahi tacos. There were 3 of them. They had a generous amount of fresh Mahi with homemade slaw and mango salsa. My gf ordered the Mahi sandwich which also came with a generous amount of Mahi and homemade tartar sauce with fries. Both dishes were so delicious. Dan the bartender was friendly and offered advice in various dishes.
