Having a crab boil at our wedding was so fun and one of the many highlights of the night! Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and OBX Boil was not only super responsive, but very flexible with the changes I asked to make during the planning process. There was one mix up with the vegetarian boil and they were so kind to try to fix it on the spot just to make sure everybody was happy. I would use OBX Boil again and again for our catering needs.

We ordered this past Tuesday for our first annual hatteras vacation and we could NOT have been happier or more full. Thank you so much for an absolutely delicious meal and perfect explanation for a first timer, everything came out perfect and delicious and it made me look like a perfect chef for all my friends. Unfortunately did not get the full tray picture because we couldn’t wait to get into it. Will be a tradition from here on out!!

This was so good!! Such a cool experience. They bring everything out to your beach house - the tablecloth, utensils, all the food, drawn butter and cocktail sauce. They cook it, serve it and clean it all up. And the food is delicious!!! It's really great - you should just do it.

reasonably priced seafood boil that you can make in the comfort of your own home (or vacation rental)? sign me up!I saw this place show up on Google maps and decided to stop in to check it out and grab a menu. the only downside I would say about ordering is if you are trying to place a same day order via phone, good luck. they are not very responsive so I'd do an online order a day in advance. the boils are very customizable. I did the Ben Franklin which came with shrimp, crab legs, mussels, clams, sausages, corn and potatoes. it comes with a spicy seasoning blend, butter, lemon, and cocktail sauce but you can add other sauces and non-seafood to your order as well. the seafood was fresh and the directions are easy to follow. definitely order from them if you're in the area!

This, easily, was the best dinner (and ironically one of the most affordable) we had while staying on Hatteras. It's an old fashioned low country boil that you can customize with your own ingredients. We went with crab, mussels, clams, and shrimp (plus corn, potatoes, and sausage). You'll get a metal bucket, and you take it home to cook it, which takes about 45-60 minutes. I guess you need a kitchen, but theoretically it could be done over a grill or even a fire. The kit comes with pretty easy to follow directions. And, if you don't wanna mess up your vacation rental, you can even buy (for a buck) a tablecloth. They've also got crackers, mallets, etc for sale, but our rental has a well stocked kitchen. You'll also definitely need pot holders, and I'm not sure you can get those here. The seafood was good quality and the seasoning mix was delicious. Very, very happy. We stopped in to ask some questions beforehand, and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Getting through on the phone was a nightmare -- they're super busy. You can order online, but not for same day service -- plan accordingly.
If you're in OBX, just order one of their boils. So simple to make, and a great value for the money. You won't regret it!

Our first time in the outer banks in 14 years and first time doing a boil. Ordered on the drive down for our first night dinner. Everything was packaged well, we got great instructions. It was all delicious- shrimp, crab legs, lobster- and we had a lot leftover! Would definitely order again!

The quality of the seafood is unmatched! Add the convenience of the way the boil is packaged, the fun of cooking it up, and the friendly service - why would you go out? This is a summer tradition for us ever since they opened.
