The green beans were cold and it was supposed to be a vegetable medley but there was only one slice of carrots in plain beans. shrimp overcooked and chewy. baked⁷ potatoe was excellent. crab cake was OK nothing to write home about.

Everything was absolutely delicious!! I don't know when they opened, I've been passing this place for years, I'm glad I finally stopped!
There were four of us, and everyone loved the food. Two blackened mahi fish sandwiches, flounder, and a shrimp po boy. The bloody Marys were also good.
Will definitely be coming back!

We had a great lunch at froggy dog! Our waiter was very attentive and the food was amazing! I had fried shrimp, my husband had flounder, and my daughter had the albatross burger which was INSANE! The tuna bites were also delish!

The food was very salty and the waiter was unfriendly and didn't give us what we had ordered. The hamburgers were over cooked and and not how we asked for them. No condiments in the bag like we asked, he agreed too.

Used to be good , has gone downhill. Tried it twice just to make sure that they weren't having an off night but sadly it was bad both times.
We will try again next time we are there and hopefully it has improved, haven't given up on them yet but they can only survive on past experiences for so long

We have been coming to the Outer Banks for the past five years, and this week was the first time we ate The Froggy Dog. We all said we didn’t know why we hadn’t ever eaten there before. Delicious food, scrumptious homemade desserts and outstanding service. We liked it so well, we ate there twice this week.

I have been eating seafood since I was in diapers. The Lobster and She-crab bisque was inedible. Way too much salt. Husband had wings. Again too salty. Fried pita bread was good.

We had the best experience tonight at dinner. Seriously hands down the best seafood we have had in a very long time. I cannot wait to eat here again. I had the blackened tuna and coconut shrimp and my husband had the mahi blackened, crab cake, clams, flounder and coconut shrimp. Everything was good all the way down to the sides. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. Also I can’t forget to mention our server Megan and the espresso martini that was amazing! Thank you guys for a perfect end to our anniversary fishing trip!
