Service was very slow, and it took a long time just to get our drinks. Had to ask for my salad before my meal. When my husband got his salad. My husband dinner was not served with the correct sides ,however, they did correct that no problem.

Too loud with a liquered up crowd. Sent my steak back twice because it was raw both times. 1st time...slap hooves on it and put it in the pasteur, 2nd the same steak the just heated the exposed part. For 30$ better melt like butter. Food as a while for our group was overcooked, over seasoned. No thank you. Spend your vacation elsewhere. Manager is arrogant. Service slow. They did comp my meal but will never be back.

Fun place to have a meal while on Hatteras Island. Great atmosphere and service. Large on the inside with lots of available seating. They sell cute tshirts with the store's logo and name as well. Lunch menu has more non-seafood options than dinner menu in case you need that.

The margaritas were good, the service and ambiance were great, but the food was neither. We had a party of eight and were seated pretty quickly. We had drinks, dinner, and dessert and were disappointed by almost all of it. The fish 'n chips had a lot lmore breading than fish, the linguine Alfredo was tasteless, and the peanut butter cheesecake didn't taste like peanut butter or cheesecake. I ended up throwing half of it away. My sister did say that she enjoyed her blackened Mahi Mahi. It is also pretty expensive for mediocre food.

We have been visiting Avon for many years, but had never made our way to the froggy dog. We were really happy with our meals. The service was really great, attentive and professional.We would definitely come back to eat again. The jumbo shrimp was completely scrumptious.My only suggestion I guess would be to fix the menu as chipotle mac & cheese says on the menu says that it with bowtie pasta, and it came with elbow macaroni instead. Pretty minor situation, but the person in our party specifically ordered it because of the bowtie pasta.Thank you we will be back.
Try the Hatteras clam chowder if you are lactose intolerant! Food was good and portions large. The carrot cake slice was enough for 4 people!Kid-friendliness: Fun atmosphere for kids.

The server was great, the location is nice, and the ambience of eating outside is great. The outdoor option allows for dogs too. My food was good, the fries were hot, and the ranch was on point. I had a quinoa black bean veggie burger. They do have nice vegetarian options. It’s my hubs hot dog that was off. He didn’t get what he ordered. They have him a standard chili dog, his was supposed to have sauerkraut, mustard and something else. He didn’t complain. He also noticed it was barely warm. He liked the fact the chili was bean less though. Over all, could have been better.
