I live just down the road from Ticos and I’ve given this place multiple chances, but unfortunately, it has consistently fallen short of expectations. The food is both under-seasoned and overpriced, lacking the flavor and quality one might hope for. I’ve never experienced such lackluster Latin cuisine, and it’s been a real disappointment each time I’ve visited.
Additionally, the counter worker has been consistently rude, which only adds to the negative experience. For those considering dining here, be prepared for a potentially underwhelming experience.

I waited almost 30 min for a single burrito that cost over 18 dollars. My problem however is the inside of that burrito was 90% lettuce and tasted like nothing but somehow also had a hot sauce already pre poured on it that was I swear the juice from Satan's Crack. It was an uncomfortable spice not a flavorful kind. It somehow tasted like nothing in places and burns the corners of your lips in others.

Hot sauce is very spicy and I like spicy things your beef tacos are very good also a little expensive but good for lunch, is you are sick and you eat their hot sauce it will clear out your nose very quickly would recommend for a quick and good lunch

Was going to leave at least two stars because the folks seemed to be nice, but looking at their responses to valid critiques about the food this deserves one star at most. For $17 you should be able to provide a quality burrito. No excuses. What I received was unseasoned, bland, poorly rolled and all around low effort product that I simply couldn’t finish. If their excuse to comments on the quality of their food is “food is expensive, deal with it”, there are better places to spend your money in Avon.
Save your money and go somewhere else. No flavor or seasoning. If you want basic and bland chicken this is your place. $35 for a quesadilla and nachos. $2.50 for a can of coke as well? That’s in a cooler with no ice? We went to dollar tree down the road and got two of the big cans for the same price of 1 and they were cold.

Food was ok, somewhat bland to be honest, I had the Torta that someone else highly recommended. Prices were higher than I was expecting for a taco truck. Wife's order had a mistake, and the chips were very oily.

Normally this place is ok but it must be hit or miss. My asada torta was so full of cartilage I couldn’t even chew it. When I called to explain it to her she hung up on me. When we called back she never answered. We called from another number and she picked up and stated she hung because she didn’t think I was speaking like an adult as I told her every piece was chewy respectfully. She then cut us off and said she wants to go home so better luck next time. I will never spend a dollar here again.
Update. The word garbage was never said. I work in the industry and understand how to let somebody know you were upset with your visit. Maybe you misheard the word cartilage in reference to the unchewable meat. She was immediately defensive, offered no resolution and hung up. I have eaten here very many times and it was good so I figured I would give them an opportunity to make it right. Seems that the only thing offered is an apology.

The chicken was great. Huge burrito. The steak had some hard pieces and fat attached. Amazing juice. Not a fan of the chips served with the meal, they are soggy like. I would go back, but order chicken tacos and juice only. Hold the chips. The service was OK, not very friendly, but not rude.
