Food was authentic and tasty, however, they loaded way too many jalapenos on the nachos and burrito. It was more spicy than I prefer and too hot for my wife. I asked if the burrito was spicy and they said no. Also a little pricey for a food truck even in Avon. Definitely worth it for a quick lunch but I would ask about the jalapenos.

Definitely a must stop! Everything we had was delicious, we got the suadero tacos and the alambre quesadillas. Both entrees were packed with flavor and came with sauce on the side; sour cream for the quesadilla. We waited in the car and planned on walking over once the food was ready since it was raining when we went, but the nice lady running it walked out of the truck in the rain to bring us our food! Great people, great service, great food. Will definitely be back!

I live just down the road from Ticos and I’ve given this place multiple chances, but unfortunately, it has consistently fallen short of expectations. The food is both under-seasoned and overpriced, lacking the flavor and quality one might hope for. I’ve never experienced such lackluster Latin cuisine, and it’s been a real disappointment each time I’ve visited.
Additionally, the counter worker has been consistently rude, which only adds to the negative experience. For those considering dining here, be prepared for a potentially underwhelming experience.
