Loved this store, the people are awsome to talk to and the products are so yummy!! Definitely worth a stop in if your in the area.

Nice people to talk with, she got me to try all her nut samples :) lots of unique flavors! The key lime pie ones are good, I might go back for them. Great place for gifts for people who love nuts (they have spices and sauces too)

This store is AMAZING! The staff was so helpful and friendly and the nuts we bought were delicious! We make a point to visit this store year after year because the products are the absolute BEST! The double chocolate covered peanuts and white trash are a family favorite! The Try My Nuts t-shirts are a hoot and I get compliments all the time when I wear mine! If you are visiting Avon/Hatteras area you need to visit this store, your taste buds will thank you!

We visited the Avon Try My Nuts store during our family vacation, and it was awesome! The store owners were incredibly friendly, hospitable and welcoming. Our kids wanted everything in the store, but we ended up getting some funny t-shirts, some stickers, hot sauce, and several varieties of their specialty nuts. Highly recommend whenever you visit Avon!

I don’t know what I expected walking into a place called Try My Nuts, but I walked out OBSESSED. This little shop in Avon is an absolute gem — funny, unique, and seriously delicious. The vibe is playful and cheeky (the puns are non-stop), but the snacks? 100% legit.

Bought a variety nut tray and a bag of pistachios dated good until 02-2026 both were stale and got thrown out 40 dollars worth of stale nuts 🫤 won’t be back nor recommend

Enjoyed meeting Russ! A real hoot! ? His daughter at the checkout counter was also very nice and amicable. Pleasant store with interesting inventory. Not too expensive, however remember you are on Hatteras Island. ?️ #LuvOBX

Although they did not have the nuts the vet took from me, they did have tons of other good nuts and stuff. Friendly owner too - two paws up! 🐾Grump

This was the highlight of my family’s outer banks experience. The woman at the desk was so helpful, let us try tons of samples, and was the friendliest person we met in town. The place is super pun-ny & the nuts are delicious whatever your vice is.
