Been hearing about them on the radio for a long time...finally got a chance to drop in...i bought a variety of goodies...all were amazing...but the service and atmosphere were even more amazing...please go check them out...you will not be disappointed!!!!!
I always enjoy stopping by Gwendy’s when in Ayden. Today I enjoyed the most delicious cinnamon roll and butter pecan cookies. Their cheese straw hearts make the perfect snack. Just this week the owner donated a chocolate mousse cake to be auctioned off at our county fair to support our military. So not only is this an excellent place to eat, but it is wonderful that they give back to the community.
Lovely place. We took a road trip from Morehead City to visit the simply natural creamery farm and stopped at gwendy's for lunch. First time there and will go back next time in the area. Food was delicious. Service first rate. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend
