We love driving up to Bakersville from Boone to eat breakfast at Mammys! Everything that we have eaten has been delicious! And the staff are everyone so friendly! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful breakfast at Mammie’s Breakfast Barn in Bakersville. I ordered an omelet with potatoes, and everything was cooked perfectly. The biscuit was freshly made and honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. The place does get busy, so it’s good to allow a little extra time, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. The staff were super nice and courteous, making the whole experience even better. We’d definitely visit again if we’re in the area!

Absolutely one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in awhile! We got there a little late (about 30min before close), I asked if it was okay for us to dine otherwise no worries as they were busy and we were late. Staff was very kind and told us to have a seat. They’re a little short staffed so service was a little slow but not bad. They let you know this ahead of time, we were grateful that they didn’t turn us away and were patient. We both ordered Paul’s pancakes and my lord that’s a pancake! Crispy lacy edge, buttery and fluffy. The bacon was great, the scrambled eggs were good, the shredded hash brown was crispy, savory and soft in the center. Coffee was good and hot. Any wait they could possibly have is well worth it, I’m glad we stopped by and next time we visit we’ll be there again! Thank you to the Mammie’s family for the great food and hospitality!

I am not a breakfast food eater. I prefer places that serve full menu all day or I just wait till lunch is served. HOWEVER Mammies is the exception! Prices are the BEST prices between Spruce Pine and Asheville. You get so much food for your price. It's all cook to order. I've been many times by myself and with my kids. We always clean our plates! Although we go often I wouldn't say we are regulars, but the waitress even remembers our drinks, and food orders! Talk about good memory! I highly reconmend!
