“We came up from Asheville to go to Mica Gallery ( which is awesome) and we had lunch here. Best egg salad I’ve ever had! Highly recommend. Everything was great.”
“What an amazing and friendly place to visit. Great Latte and the cinnamon rolls are the best. Support Local!!! The owners are always so polite and always make you happy you stopped by.”
“Great scenic place for coffee, tea, quick sandwich. Good stop after visiting the gallery and art workshops at the School. In the summer, they open till midnight!”
“Amazing food and great customer service. The food was seasoned very well and was cooked perfectly. Our waitress Jenna Rae was the best waitress we’ve had in a very long time.”
“Amazing burger, friendly host, quick service, good value! Nothing to complain about here. I got the double bacon burger, and will definitely get the same thing next time :) Can't go wrong for $8. I regret not getting a piece of the red velvet cheesecake, it looked to die for. Apparently they don't have it often, so take advantage if you are so fortunate! (visited a week ago)”
“We stopped in for lunch and ordered chopped steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was good, the hamburger was medium and the mashed potatoes were great. We also ordered a burger, that was good with French fries. We also ordered the triple decker sandwich and tater tots all was good. The best was the milk shake. Vanilla with Oreos, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Prices were great and if we are in the area again we will stop by! Thank you!”
“This was my first time eating there, and now I'm a fan. I've tried a lot of different restaurant biscuits and gravy over the years, and I believe theirs is probably the best. I'm not a local (anymore), but all of my family members are. When I asked where I should get breakfast, they automatically said, "we'll meet you at Mammie's, you'll like it". They were right, I did like it! The waitress was also very friendly and attentive (to all of her customers there).Parking: Gravel parking lot, pharmacy next door may allow for extra parking space if needed, but I'm not sure.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a nice ramp beside of the steps.”
“If I could leave 100 stars I would! This place is a gem! The people are always so friendly and the food/drinks are amazing! A few of their top items sell out fast, like their potato soup! I’m going to have to come super early to be able to try some but I know it will be worth it! Wonderful place, terrific food & lovely atmosphere!”
“the food was tasty and i wouldn’t have expected the huge amount of food i got for the price. the environment and service was amazing as well. the owners are extremely nice and informative with their menu. i will most definitely be back to eat and to shop!”
“Nice place with pleasant and attentive service. There is an option of patio (enclosed/heated for the winter) or indoor. We had the hushpuppies, burger and the chicken & shrimp pasta and all three were very good. Stop by and check them out if you are in the area. Parking is also plentiful in the area.”
“My family and I enjoy ordering take-out for special occasions would like dine in more but it's no secret that the foods is good hear so it's often crowded so we enjoy our take out”
“Delicious cappuccino and the best gluten free cookie I've had in a while! Love the space, great stop before or after a hike. Couch in the back is nap worthy. Friendly service.”
“Absolutely beautiful space! Everyone there is so welcoming and kind. Service is amazing. Great breakfast, perfectly cooked to order. This is as awesome addition to the local cuisine and space to have meetings, hang out with friends, etc.”
“Enjoyed an early dinner here today. My dining partner and I split a double cheeseburger and a basket of the Sidewinder fries. The burger was big and fries portion most generous. She is a very light eater, but we finished it all! And loved, loved the Sidewinders. Burger was maybe a bit overdone, but still hit the spot with sloppy deliciousness. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and ample beer choices.”
“First time in Burnsville for a trip and tried out this shop. The workers there were all so nice and helpful. They’ll give you a number to take upstairs with you to the dining area. The coffee and food was delicious. I’ve already been to the shop with my sister 3 days straight just for the coffee and cinnamon rolls.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu.”
“I find any excuse possible to eat here when I'm in Burnsville. The drinks, menu, and the walls/ whole place is superior to any place around here. Service is really good or really slow depending on how many people they have working, that's it's only fault I can come up with. Cool history of the name, also.I'm definitely trying the Category 5 next time, and I hope it's like the Lt. Dan vs the ocean hurricane scene.”
“The food was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ate off the small buffet they have. You can't beat it for the price. You are able to request a certain pizza that you would like and they will put it on the buffet. I highly recommend this small family operated ”
“We stopped in this weekend and we sure were glad we did. The pulled pork was so tender, slaw and baked beans were great also. Everyone was so nice from the staff to customers. We will traveling through more often in the future and plan on coming back!! Next time trying their brisket ? Thank yall for a GREAT meal!!!”
“We've eaten here several times and everything has been very good. It has two sides to the menu--one is Thai and one is sushi. We have only tried to Thai menu, but it is excellent. The portions are generous, the quality is high, and it's very tasty. The ambiance and service are good as well. The hours are a little strange, opening at 2pm on Saturdays. The sign says they close at 8pm, but we heard them telling people at 7:20 that they were doing take out only, so get there before 7pm to be sure you can dine in.”
“An original, this place is cool , waitresses are awesome, food is good ....place was packed , but service was fast and friendly ..I'll be visiting often ...”
“Everything was wonderful. I had the grilled ham and cheese and chili. Fantastic. It's worth a trip to Burnsville just to eat here. My husband I both highly recommend it.”
“Food was amazing. So was the service! We ate there today, on a Sunday, it was beyond busy, to say the least. I’m not sure our servers name, but my son and I were taken well care of. She was a younger server. Food was great. Happy about all, as usual.”
“The Dispensary is a fantastic spot! I truly enjoyed listening to the live music on Friday night. I wasn't sure what I wanted to sip on that night. Barbara was so kind and let me pick a drink from her cocktail book. The drink was so tasty and exactly what I was hoping for. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy.”
“Little Tokyo is a splendid little joint that serves Chinese food pretending to be Japanese food. It is nestled in a lovely strip mall next to a Roses, a Burger King, and a Sav-Mor grocery, which gives it a touch of class. The restaurant is simple and cozy, with just a few tables, a calendar, and a counter open to the kitchen. The staff are polite and swift, and the food is served in copious portions. The menu features a variety of dishes, from hibachi to sesame chicken to hot and sour soup. The prices are moderate, and the health score is 91 out of 100, which is admirable for a place that claims to be Japanese but is actually Chinese. The food is quite agreeable, if you enjoy steamed rice with soy sauce, sugary orange chicken, and crisp vegetables with tangy sauce. The hot and sour soup is especially good, as it has a pleasant contrast of flavours and textures. The hibachi is also satisfying, as it has a nice mix of meat and vegetables with a savoury sauce. The sesame chicken and the orange chicken are both delicious, as they are sweet and tender, and have a crunchy coating.Little Tokyo is an excellent place to eat if you are in Burnsville and have a fancy for Chinese food masquerading as Japanese food. It is authentic enough to fool your taste buds, and tasty enough to please your stomach. It is a place to impress your date or celebrate a special occasion, as it is romantic and festive. It is a place to praise or recommend to your friends, as it is unique and memorable. It is a place to remember or revisit, as it is wonderful and addictive.”
“Deliciously delicious ? seems like everyone who came through the door knew someone already there, but we still felt welcome! The food was excellent ? The Employees were kind and patient. We pulled in because the number of cars in the parking lot made us think the food had to be good. We were not disappointed.”
“My family of 4 just ate there and everything was excellent. The food, the atmosphere and the service was awesome! The portions were large and at a great value. Thank you and we'll be back!”
“Great bbq with lots of flavor that didn’t even need sauce. Catfish and short ribs were excellent. Loved the sweet potato fries and the home fries. There are specials every night with good value. We like the home town feel of City Drive-in and the old-timey “drive-in” is pretty cool.”
“A life saver after a cold wet night on Table Mountain. Excellent Birria Tacos and Tacos de Asada, a little out of the way but it is well worth the trip for the friendly staff and enjoying some quality authentic Mexican food!”
“We had a wonderful experience at Niki’s this evening. We had a tired toddler, who was not happy. Manny offered to help us so we could enjoy our meal. We felt this environment was very child friendly. The food was amazing! All staff was smiling and very attentive. Will definitely be back!”
“Excellent breakfast. Had Pumpkin Pecan pancakes they had on special. They had attentive and kind service. Restaurant was clean and well kept. I highly recommend Lee's Country Cafe.”
