“I’ve stayed here while passing through for three trips now. This most recent trip was with the new owners. The bartender had been there from before & was nice as always. The new owners seemed friendly & kind. The locals were all polite & the travelers fun. If you’re down for a hostel experience, I recommend here. If you’re just looking for dinner or a pub, this is still a fun place to visit.”

“We have wanted to try this place and keep forgetting about it because we typically don’t get home until after they close. Today we remembered in time rolling in 30 before closing. Came home with loaded brisket potato and chicken loaded Mac and Cheese. Both were AMAZING!!! Potato came with side and my choice was slaw and it was the BEST slaw I’ve ever eaten. Honestly enough food to make three meals. Roan Mountain has a true rare gem in this place.”

“Had a very good breakfast buffet! Fried donuts that tasted like french toast! Wait time was just a tad bit, however they were very busy. Food was definitely a winner.”

“I Went in while on a camping trip in the area. The wonderful woman at the register, Dominique (sp), I believe is her name, Was very personable and new the menu. She told me the local things to do in the area. Also, while I was waiting, someone phoned in an order and she patiently explained how thick their pizzas were and what she recommended, etc. She has excellent customer service. The food was made and brought out quickly and was very good. Very clean and a laid back atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!!!”
