A real homey and warm atmosphere. You could either sit outside by a fire or indoors. It was to cold, so we sat inside. I noticed the bar had several local brews on tap. My wife had the Philly Cheese Chicken Sandwich with Hushpuppies and I had the Fish and Chips. The fish was fried perfectly, and the home fries were incredible. The food was really great. The hamburgers reminded me of my childhood, wrapped in white deli paper, dripping off your elbows good. The only negatives I can say was the service was slow (for a Monday night and not busy at all) and the bar tender was sitting at a table drinking a beer.

Great bbq with lots of flavor that didn’t even need sauce. Catfish and short ribs were excellent. Loved the sweet potato fries and the home fries. There are specials every night with good value. We like the home town feel of City Drive-in and the old-timey “drive-in” is pretty cool.
