An agreeable place for lunch. A small menu with a versatile variety. I enjoyed the flounder basket. This came with a fair sized fillet. I opted for the batter dipped over the breaded and fried. This was accompanied by some delicious crispy fries and a tasty portion of Cole slaw. A nicely prepared meal for lunch. Our waitress Angela was exuberant with a great sense of humor. Atmosphere was authentic and mimicked the Bald Island laid back none too fancy experience. Plenty of parking for the best mode of traffic on the island, electric golf carts, short effective menu that covered most of the”basics”

Jailhouse is a great addition to the relatively limited BHI dining lineup. We enjoyed the mahi sandwich, the chipotle shrimp wrap, the Hawaiian bbq wings and the fried shrimp basket. The salads were pretty good too, especially with a nice piece of fresh fish added.
The service was very good each time we visited, even when they were REALLY busy. This is a well run spot and we will be back on our next BHI trip.
