“Cool spot on the water. Food is decent (average pub food). Service and atmosphere were excellent when we went on a Sunday night, we were seated quickly (despite a bit of a crowd) and our server was great.Wings were tasty. Fish sandwich lacked a little flavor, but was overall good.”

We were pleasantly surprised to find the new charcuterie added to the menu since our trip here, same time last year. And in a pizza box! Couldn't be better. Unless you chase it with the frozen lemonade or frose'. Which we did.Vegetarian options: The veggie pizza with white sauce is the best selection on the menu imho.”

“After taking out a personal loan, I was going to get dinner at the Maritime Market for me and my 2 teens. I saw the sign for Side Wok, checked out their menu, and ordered my kids "go to" General Tao's chicken with brown rice, and myself a side of mixed veggies. The sauce and chicken were tangy and crispy, the brown rice was perfectly cooked. I loved that they made it original, I found the char on the veggies absolutely. I understand people have different tastes, but I am truly baffled by the poor stars on the food. Thank you Side Wok for a delicious meal I didn't have to cook.”

And I’ve had a lot of cookies and cream ice cream in my life. There were tons of Oreos, and they were actually still crispy. Not soggy as is typical. When they say fresh-made, they mean it!! “This spot has been on list to try for a while now and I finally got the chance to stop in. It was totally worth the wait. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. I was given a menu but I asked what was a favorite vegan dish. I decided on the owner’s favorite the ramen noodle dish with tofu. This is a ramen dish without a broth and it served with a white creamy goodness sauce!!! They offer a peanut sauce as well but I went with a ginger sauce. To topIt off I got the coconut cake with the blood orange filling…there are literally no words ?…I’m speechless and so happy with my dinner!!!!My expectations were far exceeded!!! The food was outstanding!!! Service was WOW!!!Not that it really matters but the bathroom wallpaper was adorable too.”

“The breakfast is delicious. I usually get their omelette, and it is so fluffy. This is the best place to have breakfast on the island.Vegetarian options: The vegetable omelette is delicious. It has tomatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. They do have salads, vegetables, and fish.Parking: There are more parking spaces since the lot was re-done.Kid-friendliness: It is kid-friendly, because it's a family environment restaurant. There are menu choices for kids.”

“This is THE place to your barbeque fix! The main entrées and the sides are always on-point. Before you leave, be sure to hit up their Sauce Bar to gather all the sauces and pickles and hots you need. Oh--and be sure to get a large banana pudding (or two) plus a medium cobbler of the day. “The real deal. Good food. Good people. Good location. Crabcakes could use some chunks of crab in my opinion, but they weren't that sort of cake. (I get it.) Potato salad was a work of art. These sorts of straightforward, basic, reasonable seafood places on the water that haven't deteriorated into tourist traps are becoming rare these days post-pandemic, it seems. The locals seem to keep it afloat during the off-season. Go eat there and enjoy *what* it is *while* it is. Don't take it for granted. Get there early. Just sayin'.”

So all in all, Little Bits Grill gets 25⭐️’s. Can’t go wrong here. Definitely a taste of southern. And the burgers are very healthy. Just good everything all the way around. “Outer Banks Boil Company provided us with a fantastic catered boil at the beach house we rented on Oak Island. The manager Josh was great to work with and Lynn our caterer and boil chef was fantasitic! The quaility and quantity of the boil was exceptional...They bring everything you need...cook it on the property, serve it and clean up everything when you are done! We will definitely call on them again when we are back in Oak Island!”
